Although they do not acknowledge it as a merit, they say that all things arise from the chief (Isvara), so they say that nature is the cause. They say that all knowable things are those twenty-five in number, and they believe that not understanding this is samsara, and understanding it leads to liberation. Those who believe that the state of Great Brahma is permanent are the Brahmins who speak of the Vedas. The Vaisheshikas believe that after the destruction of the world, the minute particles of the four great elements, indivisible and permanent atoms, are created by the Great Isvara, and due to the power of the karma of sentient beings, two minute particles of wind combine, and then three combine, which is called the minute particle of two minute particles. Then, with a slight shake, the minute particles meet and gather, forming the wind mandala. In the same way, the water, earth, and fire mandalas are formed. In the center of these mandalas, the great egg of Brahma, blazing with light, bursts open, and from it emerges Brahma, the progenitor of the world, born from the womb of a lotus, appearing as a four-faced Brahma sitting on a lotus, who creates all the worlds. They believe that these exist in three forms: Brahma himself creates the world, the fierce one who gathers beings, and the neutral one as a male. They say, "The self-born exists in three states." Others believe that the first is the eight qualities of Isvara, the second is the three qualities of the chief (Isvara), and the third is the three states of the self-born, these three are those three forms. Or, they say that these three just mentioned encompass all the non-Buddhists, they say so. The Samkhyas, disciples of the great sage Kapila, believe that all things arise from the state of emptiness, therefore they believe that emptiness is the agent. Those capable ones who guard the sense gates from objects believe that all senses are the qualities of space, so they are in the form of space, these are the characteristics of the Vaisheshikas. Those Exhausters who believe that liberation is attained by exhausting one's hair in a single day, create images of the victorious Great Isvara, and then diligently offer to these images with faith, engaging in the act of offering. The Brahmins who are supreme believe that the five senses, such as the eyes, and what is related to them, that is, the self that is related to them, exist, they boast that we Brahmins are supreme. These people say, "There is no hearing like the Vedas."

They also consider the self to be a valid measure. From that, it says, "Two great (gods) of dark color reside in front, I recognize that person, and realizing that, there is no fear of death, and for liberation, there is no other path than that." Like this, they believe in the existence of a self possessed of the five faculties of appropriation. Furthermore, they include those who believe that they cannot indicate anything from one millionth of a hair tip, to a thumb-sized self like a clear glass egg, from the size of a mustard seed to the size of Mount Meru. Secondly, a person called "Righteous World Eye" made a hundred thousand annihilationist treatises, and for those who hold that lineage, it is the Lokayata (materialist). "Ayotini" means to be different or separate from the correct view of the world and to go. Those people say that there is no karma, which is a slander of the cause, or that there is no heaven to be liberated from the lower realms or eternal liberation from samsara, which is also a slander of the result. Those are the Lokayata treatises, evil doctrines inferior to all views. Furthermore, all practices that are used for immediate perception are said to be Lokayata, as long as the mind enters, so long is it Lokayata. It is said. By the power of the secret words of the world, in the future, monks will sit on lion thrones in the center of the sangha, teach the Lokayata doctrine, and speak its praises. It is said that whatever doctrine does not become free from desire, does not become aversion, and never separates from clinging to things, is the only secret word, etc. Shariputra, those monks who take seriously the talk of the Lokayata, abandon the words of the Buddha and speak the secret words of other heretics, those who from the beginning make the sangha happy with the sound of the Dharma in the sangha, those people are not holy, and such people are called corrupt monks, and it is said that they are forbidden. These are also spoken here as being under the power of annihilationism. Secondly, the teaching of asceticism and meditation is, those who are Ishvaras, that is, the holders of the teachings of the Great Lord of Cattle, or those who practice the teachings. To dwell facing south, north, and west is asceticism, and that is also attachment to pleasing goddesses such as Uma.
