Even though it exists in the similar side, it is not seen. Whatever is made is impermanent, like the Vedas. Space is not made. It is like recording it this way. Secondly, in the common uncertainty, there are two types: factual uncertainty and residual uncertainty. The first has four types: seeing it pervading in both. For example, establishing measurability on the sound being impermanent. Seeing it pervading in the similar side. For example, establishing impermanence on proving sound is produced by effort. Pervading in the dissimilar side. For example, establishing impermanence on proving sound is not produced by effort. Seeing it on one side of both. For example, establishing non-corporeality on proving sound is permanent. Secondly, there are two types of residuals: true residual is seeing it on the similar side, not seeing it on the dissimilar side, but still being indecisive. Contradictory residual is not seeing it on the similar side, seeing it on the dissimilar side, but still being indecisive or reversing. The first has three types: the sign exists on the dissimilar side but is not seen. For example: not omniscient, because it is a speaker, like establishing it this way. Not existing but not contradicting, not blue lotus color, because it is the son of the god-given, like establishing it this way. Contradictory but uncertain, not understanding the contradiction with permanence, is impermanent, because it is made, like establishing it this way. If it is determined to be contradictory, it will become true. Secondly, if contradictory residual is divided, there are three types: the sign exists on the similar side but is not seen. Is omniscient, because it is a speaker, like saying it this way. Not existing but not contradicting, is blue lotus color, because it is the son of the god-given, like saying it this way. Contradictory but uncertain, on the position of not understanding the contradiction with permanence, is permanent, because it is made, like establishing it this way. If it is understood to be contradictory, it will become a contradictory sign. These two are not like the residual accepted by the Vaisheshika school, but sequentially from the dissimilar side and the similar side, if the contradiction is determined, it will become true and contradictory, but temporarily there is still room for doubt in front of others, so it is called residual. Contradictory sign, if the sign is established, but is pervaded by the opposite of what is to be established, it is called contradictory. Its classification has two, the first, the classification of factual things has two: dividing into two from the perspective of connection, and dividing into three from the perspective of combination. In the first, the non-apprehension of the nature of the reason

In summary, its opposite contradictions are also of two types: contradiction with nature, such as "sound is permanent because it is produced." Its occurrence is: contradiction with the result, such as "sound is permanent because it is newly produced." These are the two types. Secondly, it is divided into three based on the combination. When the non-apprehension is not summarized as the reason of nature but divided into three combinations, its opposite contradictions are also three, such as "there is a visible vase because it is invisible." Adding the contradiction of non-apprehension, it becomes the previous two and three. Secondly, from the perspective of the intention to express, there are three contradictory signs. Regarding this, some other schools say that there are four contradictions, which are the contradiction of negating both the dharma and the possessor of dharma, the essence and the difference. The first one, taking the sky that has become a real object as the subject, is permanent because it is not made. Regarding this, the difference of the subject, the sky is only a phenomenon, and the pervasion of dharma is established. The difference of the subject, the sky that has become a real object and the non-made are contradictory, so this is called the contradiction of negating the essence of the subject. However, Sakya Pandita said that because there is no real sky, just like taking the real sound as the subject, the pervasion of dharma will not be established. Chokyi says that for those who think that the sky is not made and exists, if it is written as "the sky is the subject, it is permanent because it is not made, like a rabbit's horn," if it is the same as a rabbit's horn, then even if it is thought that the sky exists, it is established as the same as non-existence. Although it is said like this, if the essence of the subject is negated, the pervasion of dharma will not be established, and if the pervasion of dharma is established, the subject will not be negated. If what is to be established is that the sky becomes a real object, then it will become the negation of the essence of the dharma, and it will not become the negation of the essence of the subject, so Sakya Pandita said that this is not understanding the intention of the scholar. Also, negating the essence of the dharma, such as "sound is permanent because it is made." The contradiction of negating the difference of the subject is: a non-aggregate thing will become the purpose of other things. Negating the difference of the dharma: a non-aggregate object is the purpose of doing other things. Sakya Pandita said that making distinctions only in meaning like this is not in accordance with reason and scripture, so it is not good. Sakya Pandita's own view is: direct contradiction and indirect contradiction, and the expression contradiction of dharma and the possessor of dharma, are not from the perspective of meaning, but from the perspective of the intention to express.
