That's it for now. This is a transitional chapter. Second, in establishing the connection in the mind, there are two aspects: how the mind connects, and refuting the arguments against it. First, since the self-characteristics of things exist independently and cannot be related, but for the object of the discriminating mind that excludes others, just like worldly names, for one self-characteristic of a pot, excluding the states of not being bulging, not being momentary, not being produced by causes and conditions, separating the differences of the impermanence and the made of the pot, relying on the exclusion of others that gathers these into one whole, to examine the connection of a single self; Even so, it is actually impossible, but by connecting the previous cause and the subsequent effect with the mind, the connection of "arising from this" is established, and since this connection can establish the object of reference, the connection is reasonable. In the second aspect, there are two aspects: refuting the argument that the mind connects a single self, and refuting the argument against "arising from this." In the first aspect, there are two aspects: argument and refutation of the argument. First, if, like the mind connects the made and the impermanent, it is established in things, then it will become a connection of things, and if the connection between the two is not established in things, then the made cannot prove the impermanent, because the two are not related in things, so that reason cannot become the proof of things, is that so? Second, since the exclusion of others is not reversed, the things examined can conform to the Dharma of things, for example, for sound, it is considered to be made, impermanent, etc.; Since the exclusion of others is different, the things examined cannot conform to things, for example, for sound, it is considered to be permanent, unmade, etc. There are two situations, the first one conforms to things, so it can obtain the object of reference, so the name of the connection is reasonable, and the other reversed situation is considered to be unconnected, just like the example, because the object of reference cannot be obtained. In the second aspect, there are two aspects: argument and answer. First, if it is said that this smoke will not arise without that fire, if this connection does not actually exist in the smoke itself, then this smoke will become without cause, and if it exists, then it will become a connection that exists on the thing itself, is that so? Second, without a cause, there will be no effect, so the smoke in things only exists in the point that "it will not arise without fire," but if it is said that without the previous fire, there will be no subsequent smoke, grasping the two together, connecting and connecting them into a whole, this is the action of the mind.

Because it cannot be connected by name, if it exists in reality, it must be established by appearance, but it is not so. If it does not exist in reality, there is only non-arising, and if there is not, there is no relationship of non-arising. What is made and impermanence are the same nature, but there is no one-entity relationship in reality. In short, relationship means that it cannot be established without holding two dharmas together. What is made and impermanence are not established separately in meaning, and because cause and effect are not simultaneous, the relationship between the two is not established in meaning, which is a key issue. Third, regarding the valid means of establishing relationships, there are three: establishing characteristics, determining the basis, and how to determine them. First, there are two types: the determination of one-entity relationship and the determination of that-born relationship. First, There are two types: the relationship established by name and the relationship established by meaning. First, if one asks by what valid means it is established that different entities are the same in meaning, then the relationship between characteristics such as horns and the signified cow is also established because the aggregation of horns etc. is mistaken for this cow, but the signified is fabricated, so it does not exist in meaning. The relationship between general and specific is also established because the single entity and the collection of two, such as tree and animal, are mistaken for one entity, and expressed with the term of one entity. In this way, all one entities are established because of mistaking different entities and regarding things as one entity, otherwise it is not established in meaning. Second, there are two types: establishing the root reason and eliminating the uncertain reason. First, whatever exists will perish in an instant, like a pot. Sound also exists, this is the reason of nature. Second, there are two reasons for eliminating the uncertain reason. There are two necessities for stating these two. First, it is to explain the reason of non-dependence to eliminate the uncertain reason of destruction depending on other causes. Second, it is to explain the reason of harm to eliminate the uncertain reason of thinking that things and permanent dharmas have a common basis. First, there are two types: establishing the reason and eliminating the unreasonableness of it. First, establishing its reason is that this reason is certain, whatever is produced must perish, because in the second instant, the first instant is named destruction, but there is no independent dharma of destruction established, so there is no need to depend on other causes of destruction. Second
