If you persist for seven days, you can withstand thin clothing. If you persist for a month, you can maintain warmth for a year. This is the secret to igniting warmth in the body like fire, the tummo of substances. Substances to ignite warmth from outside the body: One handful each of good ginger, long pepper, and cubeb pepper, half a handful of coriander, three spoonfuls of alisma salt, one spoonful of salt, a thumb joint's worth of good cinnamon, and a thumb's worth of aconite. Grind these into powder, mix with barley beer or thick wine residue juice to make a yogurt-like consistency, and leave it in a good container in a warm place overnight. Then, thoroughly wash your body with alcohol, and except for the sensory organs and glands, apply the above substance all over your body. After it dries, massage and rub with old butter, and the body will burn like a mass of warmth, able to dry nine wet cloths each night. This is an extremely profound secret of Jueyu Yutogpa. Grind the oil of the Ashoka tree together with the fruit of Indian frankincense, apply it to a mirror, and also apply it to your eyes and look at it, and even ordinary men and women will see the image of a deity, according to the scriptures. Put your feet into shoes filled with pumpkin seeds, and then walk on the water, and you will be able to float and walk on the water like a boat, according to the scriptures. Also, grind alkali, yellow orpiment, and indigo into powder, wrap it in a fish skin bag, and apply it to your body, and you will not sink into the water, according to the scriptures. The wood powder eaten by the gold worm, mixed with the meat of three birds: cuckoos, owls, and eagles, whoever is given this will appear like a hungry ghost. This gold tree is a ghee annotation in the scripture's medicinal formulas.
