The following examines the specific conditions of the upper and lower parts of the body and the internal organs through twelve causes. In this way, the types of diseases can be examined, as well as the specific locations where the diseases occur. First, examine the characteristics of each pulse separately: The characteristic of the wind pulse is "floating," like bubbles floating on the surface of water. Due to the power of the wind, the pulse floats on the surface of the muscle, and when pressed, it acts like sinking into water. "Empty" means that when pressed, the inside of the pulse is empty, and sometimes it stops beating. The characteristic of the bile pulse is that the pulse is thin and tight, beating tensely like a bowstring. Cold white phlegm, that is, pure cold, not mixed with other diseases. The characteristic of this pulse is that it sinks deep and is weak, that is, it declines, as mentioned above. Like this, no matter where the sinking or strong pulse appears, whether upward or downward, it should be interpreted uniformly, and it should not be understood separately in different situations. Therefore, for the pulse characteristics that have already been explained, all the contents that have not been explained again should be understood as before. It would be very inconvenient to make various explanations without certainty. The characteristic of the dual wind-heat pulse is that it is empty due to the power of the wind and flows due to the power of heat, that is, it beats quickly. The characteristic of the dual phlegm-bile pulse is that due to the power of phlegm, it is not obvious at first touch, and the surface is slightly sunken. But due to the power of bile, when pressed down, there will be a slight tension in the depths. The characteristic of the dual phlegm-wind pulse is that it is empty due to the power of the wind, and the beating is slow due to the effect of phlegm. When wind, bile, phlegm, and blood are gathered together, it is called purple phlegm. The characteristic of this pulse is that the pulse is thick and full inside. Because purple phlegm is located in the blood and bile, the liver pulse is the main one, and the two pulses below the liver are lower, which are called "blind." Just as blindness is called "blind," the pulse is lower than other pulses, like falling into a hole, which is called "blind." The pulse of a patient with edema trembles and is difficult to touch, that is, it is difficult to beat. The characteristic of the worm pulse is "entanglement," that is, like wrapping around a finger. Like grabbing the depression of a finger, it beats in a contracted state.

And, it makes it beat like a flat sheet. The pulse of leprosy is weak in the pulse of the organ where the disease has entered. Because it depends on serum, all the pulses tremble. Because the ghost is very strong, it suddenly beats or twitches violently. The pulse of dysentery, which is caused by disordered eating and living, will show four states: thick, swollen, bulging, and entangled, because the heat depending on the blood is very strong. The pulse of fever caused by body collision and abrasion is thin, hard, and tight. The pulse of epidemic fever is thin and fast. The pulse of relatives is like the so-called "contraction", which refers to parasites. Relatives refer to two pulses beating in parallel, that is, which organ the relative enters, it appears on the pulse of that organ. Short cone refers to the pulse that beats suddenly and violently like a fever short cone, which is short and puffing, beating like a flag blowing in the wind. The pulse of mixed poison is that the pulse is swollen and bulging a lot, so it is rough as expected. Short refers to the meaning of beating shortly. Just as it is said in the chapter on disordered heat, "short becomes long", which clearly shows the opposite of "long". The pulse is short, and it should be understood that way wherever it occurs. If you don't understand the key points, you will see various self-created statements, which are meaningless. Scattered refers to sometimes strong and sometimes weak, etc., and various uncertain scattered phenomena occur, and it is impossible to clearly judge from the pulse which disease it is. The pulse of meat poison has three characteristics: thin, fast, and deep. In particular, the pulse of the stomach where the toxin enters will appear atrophied. The fever that has not fully matured is thin and fast, shaking like the wind. The pulse of the fever that is strong after maturity is strong and tight. The pulse of empty heat, which enters the heat and is shaken by the wind, is empty and erratic. The pulse of heat hidden under cold is low in pulse position and feels tight from the depths. The pulse of old disease that has lasted for a long time is thin and tight. The pulse of fever that accumulates in the body with serum is thin and beats quickly from deep in the muscles, that is, erratic. The pulse of wound infection with fever is thick, hard, and fast. The pulse of pain caused by foreign objects such as arrows piercing into the abdominal cavity is, which direction of the organs, etc., has foreign objects such as arrows piercing into
