བྲག་གམ་ཁང་རྨང་རྒས་པ་ནས་འབྱུང་བ་དེ་དྭངས་སྙིགས་འབྱེད་ཐབས། རང་ལས་བརྒྱད་འགྱུར་ཆུར་བཏབ་ནས་ལྷོག་ཙམ་བསྐོལ་ནས་ཞག་གཅིག་གྲུང་དུ་བཅུག་ལ་ནང་བར་བསེང་། Nila Thota or Big Pana Sagzi Sagranzi stone or sour salt, all mean the same thing, just different names. The method of making these is: one tael of Chinese salt. Five spoons of borax. One spoon of alkali. Mix one tael of copper rust and finely ground yellow lead powder. Soak equal amounts of good wine and urine. After heating, put it in a white porcelain bowl and leave it for three days, cover it with fresh Priyangku grass. Observe whether it is cool and dry. If the yellow lead has not melted, take it out and stir it, and leave it again until it is dry. This will give you blue salt water with the taste of copper rust. The seven methods of burning salt are large burning salt. Old salt to remove impurities, one handful. Horn powder of yak calf, half a handful. Powder of other various horns, the total amount adds up to half a handful. Lantern tree and loquat tree, one handful each, are the main ones. Three handfuls of Inula roots.
