From the Vimala Nyingtik, it says to mix milk, seabuckthorn, black agate powder, and the yolk of a black hen's egg. On the first day of the lunar month and on days when the sky is empty, wash the eyes and face with cold water early in the morning. Then, apply the medicinal paste to the eyes. From then on, drink boiled yellow cow's milk with honey added every day, and the eyes will not deteriorate and the vision will be clear. Also, purple frog's back, dried madder root, licorice, sugar, and madder juice, finely ground and mixed with the milk of a child, applied to the eyes, will eliminate deterioration after seven days and clarify vision. Also, copper ash and skull, finely ground and mixed with whey, applied to the eyes will gradually clear dry and wet redness, cataracts, and other conditions, making vision clear. Also, ava root, polygonatum, rock lichen, blue snake medicine, three fruits, bear bile, black dog, monkey, black horse, the bile of five creatures: human and owl, and evergreen grass, mixed together and eaten on an empty stomach for three months, one will have flesh eyes and clear vision.
