Found in a certain manuscript, may it be auspicious! Thus says Dar Ka. ༈ A special treatment for mucus obstructing the throat: At the onset of the disease, take some cooling secret remedies for a few days. If there is a lot of saliva, rinse with the juice of stalactites soaked in fifteen-ingredient coral soup. After that, establish a foundation with stalactites and wild cumin, ginger, long pepper, Phyllanthus emblica, Piper longum, चित्रक (Sanskrit Devanagari: चित्रक, Sanskrit Romanization: citraka, Chinese literal meaning: चित्रक), i.e., the five pungent spices, three cinnamons, three cardamoms, three pungent highland barleys, Schisandra chinensis, Terminalia bellirica, Terminalia chebula, Emblica officinalis, etc., mixed into a powder, administer with hot boiled water. When necessary, induce vomiting with Rhododendron, wolfsbane, juniper, Dictamnus dasycarpus, Arisaema utile, rock salt, and long pepper. Lay the patient on their back. When vomit and phlegm come out, lift them up without letting their body lean, and use feathers, etc., to draw out nasal mucus. Sometimes cleanse with strong purgatives. Or do both vomiting and purgation together. Perform treatments and rituals for whatever spirit is causing harm. Then, internal medicine: musk, Terminalia chebula, bear bile, six good medicines such as bezoar, plus four Terminalia chebula, mix one part of each, divide into three doses. Of these, first mix one dose with a 'Pung' of yak blood and good wine and administer internally. Afterwards, mix the remaining two doses of bone-removing medicine with blood wine and administer one by one. Unless it is past karma, these three doses will free one from the disease, the truth or falsehood will be clear when taken into hand. When examining, if the pulse is clear, bleed a little. If it is not clear, bleed the root of the tongue or the tip of the uvula a little. If there is severe stomach pain, mix stalactites and wild cumin into the five-ingredient pill and administer. Burn the fourth joint. Stop eating fish and goiter. Accumulate merit, perform rituals, and purify obscurations as appropriate. In this way, one will quickly be freed from the disease of throat obstruction. This was seen in a certain manuscript. ༈ Namo Guru Shriye (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुरुश्रीये, Sanskrit Romanization: guruśrīye, Chinese literal meaning: Homage to the glorious Guru)

ūrawe. This gentle and pleasing method for relieving throat hoarseness and making the upper body comfortable was created by the Protector Nāgārjuna, and it made the throat of a singer with a bad voice comfortable. He gave it to Kunga, the abbot of Jagma Valley, who had a bad voice, and he obtained excellent melodies and became a great melody master famous in Tibet and China. Then, the mantra practitioner Jñānaśrī of Zhalu, because of his weak voice, requested and practiced it, and having gained certainty, he wrote down this text. First, in the season when the water is good, abstain from tea, alcohol, meat, butter, sweets, and sour things, avoid being enveloped in smoke, burning juniper and fresh grass, and activities that disturb the body and speech. In the early morning, on an empty stomach, go to a clean place, lie flat on the grass, chest down, insert a finger into the throat, and vomit as much as possible. If it is too violent, it will damage the throat and cause problems such as phlegm and black water to erupt, so do it in moderation so as not to harm the body. Adjust the amount and induce vomiting seven, nine, or eleven times. If using medicine to induce vomiting, use one whole piece of posocha, a handful of risho root, half of the wolfthorn root, one tun of pippali, goldenseal, baruru, aruru, beseyab, se-dru wood fragrance, dried ginger, sro lo, and gypsum salt powder or medicinal juice until blue, blood, or bile-colored substances are vomited out. Afterward, if it is too violent and the body cannot bear it, use salty tea and butter to relieve it, and avoid burning juniper smoke, fresh grass, and other bad foods and behaviors as described here. After vomiting, in order to eliminate the defects of the upper body orifices, during this time, make pills from standard voice medicines and dry them in the shade. The main medicinal formula is: white copper, saffron, bamboo pith, lychee, cardamom, and rue, each one large tun. Wood fragrance and star flower, one large tun. White sro lo. Indian aruru, golden with a curved tip. Leaves and petals of white meadowsweet from a north-facing valley that have not been touched by frost, doubled. Add bellflower and other medicines, a total of thirteen medicines, mix them in large quantities, and roll them into pills with clean water. Immediately after completing the above preparations, take the pills on an empty stomach in the early morning, and it is very important to be able to avoid the prohibitions. Regarding prohibitions, in terms of food, all fresh grass and datso, garlic and onions, weak tea, and meat and butter.
