我，丢弃骨头，不烧焦，让汁液自然蒸发干燥。对于需要烧灼治疗的疾病，将相当于阿如拉果实三倍量的糌粑包裹起来。之后，用六倍于阿如拉果实的牛粪包裹，在火堆中缓慢而持久地烧烤，直到牛粪灰烬和糌粑变成木炭，阿如拉果实的外皮呈黄色，内部不烧焦，达到合适的程度。外面的包裹物烧焦，丢弃里面的骨头，就可以用作药物了。 第三种方法是生用，将长嘴阿如拉果实的顶端放在灰烬中煨烤。不要烧焦，只要产生足够的热度和辣味即可。这种阿如拉果实的顶端用于泻下，根部用于止泻，因此要采摘根部与树木连接处有断裂痕迹的，只有顶端的那一种。务必注意不要弄错，顶端才是最重要的。 至于翼首草，要在向北的山坡上，土壤松软的地方挖掘。而且，要具备三个条件：上面有冰川，下面有大河，前面能看到湍急的河流。在秋季树叶变黄时，在土地未冻结之前挖掘，因为此时土地和水的能量向下流动，可以减少呕吐和腹泻。用于催吐的药物，要在春季沙地和土地平坦的地方生长，叶子张开的，因为此时火和风的能量向上流动，不会引起腹泻，而是向上引导，用于催吐。 无论是泻药还是催吐药，都要避免使用根部粗大的，以及有粗糙突起的。根部细长，单根光滑且长的为佳。如果根部没有破损，颜色像新鲜奶酪一样，并且能挖到深处，药效就更强。用清水洗去泥土，去除内部的茎和外皮后才能使用。 炮制翼首草时，要切成段并捣碎。有七种炮制方法：用牛奶煮，是温和的炮制方法，适合于治疗黏液病。用酒煮，是锋利的炮制方法，适合于治疗肿瘤。用酒和大块肉一起煮，是良好的炮制方法，适合于治疗毒和淋巴结肿大。用比丘或八岁儿童的尿液煮，是强烈的炮制方法，适合于治疗寄生虫和炎症。用牛尿煮，是快速的炮制方法，可以治疗麻风病、痛风、水肿、腿部湿疹等。用肉汤煮，是剧烈的炮制方法，适合于治疗毒和胃部疾病、寄生虫。用阿如拉果实的汁液煮，是广泛的炮制方法，可以消除血液和胆汁混合引起的疾病。无论使用哪种炮制方法，都要加入一块有毒的羊肉。煮药的液体要用相当于药物八倍的水，不要烧焦或煮干，煮到液体剩下一半时。取出羊肉，埋在地下，不要让任何动物吃到。将药液过滤并使其自然蒸发，干燥后无论用于何处，都具有锋利、温和、快速的药效。

I, discard the bones and dry it without burning, allowing the juice to evaporate naturally. For diseases requiring cauterization, wrap the fruit of Arura with three times its weight in tsampa. Then, wrap it with six times the weight of the Arura fruit in cow dung and slowly and continuously roast it in a fire until the cow dung ash and tsampa turn to charcoal, and the outer skin of the Arura fruit is yellowish and the inside is not burnt, reaching the appropriate degree. The outer wrapping is burnt, the bones inside are discarded, and it can be used as medicine. The third method is to use it raw, roasting the tip of the long-beaked Arura fruit in ashes. Do not burn it, just produce enough heat and spiciness. The tip of this Arura fruit is used for purgation, and the root is used to stop diarrhea, so pick the one with a fracture mark at the junction of the root and the tree, only the tip one. It is important not to mistake it, the tip is the most important. As for Tharnu, it should be dug on a north-facing mountain slope with loose soil. Moreover, it must have three conditions: a glacier above, a large river below, and a clear view of a rushing river in front. Dig it in autumn when the leaves turn yellow, before the soil freezes, because at this time the energy of the earth and water flows downward, which can reduce vomiting and diarrhea. The medicine for inducing vomiting should grow in sandy and flat land in spring, with open leaves, because at this time the energy of fire and wind flows upward, which will not cause diarrhea, but guide upward and induce vomiting. Whether it is a laxative or an emetic, avoid using those with thick roots and rough protrusions. It is better to have thin, single, smooth and long roots. If the roots are not damaged, the color is like fresh cheese, and it can be dug deep, the medicinal effect will be stronger. Wash away the soil with clean water, remove the inner stem and outer skin before use. When preparing Tharnu, cut it into sections and mash it. There are seven preparation methods: boiling it in milk is a mild preparation method, suitable for treating phlegm diseases. Boiling it in wine is a sharp preparation method, suitable for treating tumors. Boiling it in wine with large pieces of meat is a good preparation method, suitable for treating poison and swollen lymph nodes. Boiling it in the urine of a monk or an eight-year-old child is a strong preparation method, suitable for treating parasites and inflammation. Boiling it in cow urine is a quick preparation method, which can treat leprosy, gout, edema, leg eczema, etc. Boiling it in broth is a violent preparation method, suitable for treating poison and stomach diseases, parasites. Boiling it in the juice of Arura fruit is a broad preparation method, which can eliminate diseases caused by the mixture of blood and bile. No matter which preparation method is used, add a piece of poisonous mutton. The liquid for boiling the medicine should be eight times the amount of water as the medicine, do not burn or boil dry, boil until half of the liquid remains. Take out the mutton and bury it underground, do not let any animal eat it. Filter the medicinal liquid and let it evaporate naturally, after drying, no matter where it is used, it will have sharp, mild, and rapid medicinal effects.

Having the seven qualities of taming, it can be transformed and the medicine can be compounded and refined. Peel the bark of the sandalwood, take out the white tongue-like layer in between, and lightly fry it in ghee-roasted barley flour. Detoxify the root of the aconite and fry it together (with other ingredients) without letting it turn into malt. Alternatively, cut the aconite into small pieces, put it in fried malt, and leave it until it cools down, so that the poison is released. Heat the Shri Khanda (Sanskrit, śrīkhaṇḍa, meaning auspicious sugar) and clarified butter slightly. Soak the water root and willow root in alcohol, moisten them, and steam them. Extract the juice of the thunder vine, do not discard the residue, and boil it with Shri Khanda. Separate the wings of the crow (or magpie), wrap them in cloth, and place them in the malt until it cools down. Alternatively, without removing the wings, use two sweet wood apples for every ten crows (or magpies), and cut off the head of each crow (or magpie), so that it is non-toxic and has a quick effect, this is the oral instruction. Whenever using crows (or magpies), for every five crows (or magpies), add one head of Chaga, soak them in alcohol, mix them in a porcelain bowl, and combine them. Regarding the medicine for rejuvenation. The crow method spoken by Vajra Dakini is an oral instruction. Tame it like refining mercury. Licorice, turmeric, calamus, and garlic, soak each of the four in fresh butter for three days. Add three parts of cardamom and long pepper. Boil it slightly in the five-leaf herb. Wash it with a mixture of rice flour, molasses, rock candy juice, and human urine. Soaking musk in Somanza and human urine will not separate its own scent. It is used to treat scrotal swelling. Use warm ash of cow dung. Color it slightly with the juice of the five-leaf herb. Soak it again in rock candy juice and human urine. Put it in a mixture of Karaka and Kakha flowers. Place it again in the center of the Somanza root and it will be effective. Three types of pure water, white mustard, and yellow mustard. Mustard oil and the juice of Vajra. Only use equal amounts of fresh butter, so that it eliminates defects and transforms into a tonic. Wrap the leaves of Sri Lankan castor oil in tin foil. Bury it under newly sown land, and it will be effective if it is colored. Wrapping safflower and three grains with cloth will add splendor.
