Though small, it possesses great majesty, bearing the heavy burden of immovable toxicity. It is armed with a piercing, sharp short spear. What is this moving substance that does not stay like the wind? It has a nature that is fierce and rough. When accomplished, it bestows the power of the great meaning of nectar. In this world, it has become the king of accomplished excellent medicines. The jasmine that delights supreme bliss has descended. Like a fierce elephant without a hook, difficult to grasp, following the venomous snake and wrathful deities, this supreme medicine is well subdued by the antidote of skillful means. Like a tamed horse, it exists here as medicine. It is the essence of stable and moving elements, a nectar condensed into one. It has a wondrous and beautiful color, and it also bestows the glory of immortal vajra life. It is the enemy of aging that destroys beautiful youth. Relying on it, one becomes completely peaceful. It is the supreme medicine with great power in the world, including the gods. The sacred amrita (Tibetan: ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ，Sanskrit Devanagari: अमृत，Sanskrit Romanization: amṛta, Chinese literal meaning: immortality) is precious with profound essentials. Whoever tastes even a mustard seed's worth of it is said to be a dweller who has attained the accomplishment of the sky-goers. This is proclaimed from the tongue of truthful speakers. It is the unparalleled antidote to four hundred and four diseases. Drinking it also bestows the source of common accomplishments. It is a great substance of the essential points of inner and outer interdependence, becoming the king of medicines with extraordinary power and ability.
