Inserting them into the anus can eliminate bloating, constipation, urinary retention, white phlegm lumps, wind-blood and cold phlegm coagulation, all wind diseases, roundworms, and all cold diseases. It can make the flow of stool and breath smooth and restore them to their normal positions. After using the suppository in this way, fumigate the lower body. If there is constipation, mix ghee with buckwheat flour to make a suppository and insert it into the anus, and it will heal immediately. ༈ Regarding purgatives and emetics: The commonalities and differences between purgatives and emetics for treating lung abscesses are: Take one share each of white gentian, Payaga, blue vitriol, white lead powder, and calamus, plus two shares of rue, one and a half shares of wild buckwheat flour, and three shares each of safflower and medicinal sucrose. Grind them carefully, pour them into warm horse or donkey milk, and take it. It is beneficial for treating all lung diseases, including lung abscesses, and can act as a purgative. Do not take medicine after the pus stops. If the pus and lung blood are mixed without problems, add a larger amount of white arsenic and bear bile to the above medicines, mix with brown sugar and wine, and take it for better results. Mix the burnt ash of white Sukapa, white gentian, safflower, salt, leprosy salt, and honey and take it, and the pus in the lungs will vomit out on its own. This method is also extremely effective. Mix Arisaema, Coptis chinensis, human bones, and snake meat to make pills. Take one pill the size of a bean in the morning. Then, after hearing the birds chirping, mix camphor and spikenard and take a pill the size of a bean. Subsequent treatments such as whipping are the same as usual. Just like introducing seawater into ditches, this secret can drain the pus in the upper chest cavity. This is the secret to using snakes for purgation. If vomiting pus does not stop, add sugar to boiled and cooled milk and take it to stop it. If it is still difficult to stop, add one share of bear bile to the above medicines, and it will definitely stop. Very effective. For treating lung pus vomiting, grind sugar wood, sumac, rue, safflower, Riga Du, and long pepper in equal amounts, mix with mare's milk, and take it on an empty stomach. Also, incense made from Aquilaria agallocha, black Guggul, black Datura metel, Stephania cepharantha, Rubus fruits, Aconitum ferox, cinnabar, and nine-eyed agate, ground into a fine powder and burned, is beneficial for planetary influences. Grind equal parts of golden-colored Guggul and white sandalwood into a fine powder, burn it on a fire, and inhale the smoke through the nose; it is sure to be beneficial for both early and late stages of colds.
