Then, having left only some remnants of the necks, he was therefore also known as the Ten-Faced Ravana. The great god Shiva was pleased with Ravana's incredible great courage, and so he commanded the goddess Uma, saying, "Uma, go and grant him accomplishments." As commanded, she went to him and promised to grant him whatever he desired. Ravana said, "I do not wish to receive accomplishments from a woman." Uma became angry and said, "In the future, your kingdom will be destroyed by a woman!" Having said this, she departed. Later, the great god Shiva sent his son, Barba, who had the face of a monkey, and asked him what accomplishments he desired. Ravana said, "I do not wish to receive accomplishments from a monkey." He also became angry and said, "In the future, your kingdom will be destroyed by a monkey!" Having said this, he also departed. After that, the great Shiva himself came and again blessed Ravana's necks to grow heads, and granted him immortality, as long as he did not cut off the horse's head in the middle, and the great accomplishment of conquering the three realms, and thus he enslaved the three worlds. That which destroys him is the last of the ten incarnations of Vishnu, called Rama, the maker of joy. Because Raghu is the name of the lineage, he is also called the son of Raghu. The father of Rama, the maker of joy, was King Dasharatha. Dasharatha said to Rama, "I once went to the place where the gods and asuras were fighting, and took the side of the gods and fought with the asuras, and therefore I have many wounds on my body caused by the weapons of the asuras. My wife Kaikeyi healed these wounds in a place called the City Without War, and as a reward for her, I have already given the kingdom to Kaikeyi's son, your younger brother Bharata. Rama, you go to the forest with your wife Sita." When Dasharatha gave the command, Rama, with his vast mind capable of accepting such a difficult thing, went to the forest with his wife. Rama's wife is called Sita. In the land of the Rakshasas, a beautiful girl was born, and if she were left there, a sign of the destruction of Lanka would appear, so the girl was placed in a copper box and thrown into the water. In Jambudvipa (referring to the Earth), the box was washed into the irrigation ditch of a field, and the farmers opened the box.

Looking up, that noble woman was none other than the queen of King Rama, the son of the king of Jambudvipa who possessed ten chariots. The king was very pleased and gave generous rewards. Her name, because the farmers found her in the field, became known as Field-found Woman, or Sita. Rama and Sita lived happily together in the forest, enjoying themselves. Once, the son of the Rakshasa king Ravana investigated which woman in Jambudvipa was the most beautiful. He found that only Sita was the most beautiful. To steal her, he transformed a Rakshasi named "Enticing Woman" into a beast with a large, suitable hide, which Rama desired to capture. He said to Sita, "Until I return, do not cross this circle of light. If you cross it, you will lose your life." Having said this, he surrounded her with a circle of light. He himself chased after the beast, going all the way to the end of the ocean. Afterwards, the Rakshasa king Ravana transformed himself into a Brahmin and began to seize Sita. King Rama, unable to disobey the decree of the true oath, the Rakshasa, by means of his magical power, carried Sita, along with the land within the circle of light, to the land of the Rakshasas. Prince Rama, no matter how much he chased after the beast, could not catch it, realizing that he had been deceived, and returned to his abode. Discovering that Sita, along with the land, had been carried away while crying out, he pursued after her. He encountered a warm stream of water, grayish-yellow in color, with a foul odor and steaming vapor. Following the stream to its source, he found in the upper reaches of the valley the monkey kings Vali and Sugriva, along with their armies, engaged in battle due to discord over the kingdom. The water was muddied by the dust from the labor of war. Upon arriving there, the monkey king Sugriva said, "We are fighting for the sake of the kingdom. In three days he will be victorious, so you should become our friend." Rama gladly agreed, because his arrow, once shot, was certain to hit, and once hit, was certain to kill, and once dead, was certain to be reborn as a god. Therefore, he promised to shoot an arrow and kill the monkey king Vali. However, on the first day, watching the battle of the monkey armies,
