Here, if all the meanings to be expressed are not understood and clarified, then all three worlds of the upper realm gods, the human realm, and the underworld, all of these would be like a gathering of mutes, unable to communicate the messages of what to adopt and what to abandon, without the ability to speak. Therefore, it would become like a pitch-black darkness. Therefore, measuring and determining the limitless knowledge, such as the temporary worldly affairs and the paths that transcend the world, all of this arises from the kindness of the nature of nouns, words, and letters, the expression of language. Secondly, the image of the past kings, such as Rlung las nu (Born from the Wind), whose fame spread far and wide, appears in the mirror of poetry that has the nature of language. That is to say, although those kings are no longer alive and have passed away, look at the image of the nature of their fame, which has not diminished even now. This is an expression of wonder at the extraordinary qualities of poetry that surpass other mirrors. Regarding how to compose poetry that possesses the aforementioned benefits, the wise say that speech that correctly combines the forms of words and meanings is like a wish-fulfilling cow. Alternatively, it can also be said that because the synonym for the word "བ་ (ba)" also includes the sound "གོ་ (go)", language is said to be the wish-fulfilling jewel of language. If language itself does not combine words and meanings well, but is used incorrectly, not only will it not fulfill wishes, but the person who uses language in that way will be considered unwise and will be said by others to be like a cow. For such reasons, even if a small flaw in words or meanings appears to those who compose poetry, it should not be ignored as if nothing happened. For example, even if all other parts of the body are beautiful, having one flaw, such as in the eyes or eyelashes, will lead to misfortune. If someone does not understand the characteristics of treatises on poetry and so on, how can they distinguish the merits and flaws of language? For example, do the blind have the opportunity to distinguish the differences between good and bad forms? This is a negative word indicating absence. Therefore, the wise ones of the past, in order for beings to understand the differences in poetry, clearly considered this point and निश्चित (Sanskrit Devanagari, niścita, Sanskrit Roman transliteration, determined) combined the behavioral rituals or methods of words that possess the path of clearly expressing sound and meaning. How?

If combined, those scholars have well explained that the essence of poetry is the nature of the collection of names, words, and letters, which is the flow of language, and the various ornaments that make it beautiful. So it is said. Secondly, the virtue in the middle has three parts: the first chapter, the middle, and the last. Among them, the first chapter discusses the body of poetry and the ornaments. In the first aspect, there are two parts: the classification of the body of poetry and the explanation of the languages on which they depend. The first part is divided into a summary and a detailed explanation. First, the body of poetry, for the time being, refers to the various aspects of the meaning that one wants to express at the time of creation, or the combination of words or the flow of language that has been specially modified. It is also divided into three forms: poetry, prose, and a combination of poetry and prose. Second, the detailed explanation is divided into three parts: poetry, prose, and the explanation of the combination of poetry and prose. First, poetry refers to the number of letters between six and twenty-seven, and each line is the same. This is how the style of poetry is considered. In other places, it is also said that poetry ranges from one to six lines. The four-line poem is also divided into two types: counting letters (Sanskrit Devanagari: वृत्त, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vṛtta, Chinese literal meaning: circle) and counting morae (Sanskrit Devanagari: जाति, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: jāti, Chinese literal meaning: जाति). All the elaborations of meter (Sanskrit Devanagari: वृत्त, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vṛtta, Chinese literal meaning: circle) and mora (Sanskrit Devanagari: जाति, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: jāti, Chinese literal meaning: जाति) have been clearly stated in the treatises on meter. Such metrics are like ships for those who want to delve deeply into the ocean of poetry, because they are indispensable for the creation of poetry. Poetry is also divided into four types: liberation, kind, treasure, and collection. Treatises that contain many such poems and elaborate on broad themes should be divided into chapters, that is, divided into different chapters. These classifications of poetry, like warp and weft, are indispensable components of large poetic works, so no separate examples are given here, but they can be understood through comprehension. For example: Liberation refers to expressing a theme in one line of poetry, using different words.
