This clarifies the singularity. The sounds of many words such as seizing, holding, and taking are repeatedly taken or held near, hence it is called clarifying the single meaning. Clouds are the vehicle of fragrance, the wind is filled with sweet and pleasant scents; elephants have the good fragrance of cheek wine dripping from the intoxicated vase on their heads, hence it is said to be the vehicle of fragrance, delightful. Clouds arise in the sky and elephants have tall bodies, both are tall. The color is blue-green, possessing the light of the Tamala tree, with these qualities the two are combined. Such clouds roam in the sky, these elephants roam on the ground, connected by the verb "roam," here the qualities of both are not separate but combined. And the clouds and elephants, which are the entities, are also related by the action of roaming, hence this is a clarification with the meaning of mutual relation, it is a clarification between the statement of actions. Tamala is said to be a tree with blue-green leaves that grows near the sea. Third, only the example form mentioned here can represent the adornment of clarification, which has endless variations of expression, and the rest should be understood by scholars of linguistics by following or comparing these methods. Fifth, the adornment of circumambulation has two aspects: essence and classification. First, in any of the three places, beginning, middle, and end, of the clarification just mentioned, the same meaning is repeated in a cycle, but with different words, or the words are the same but the meanings are different, or both words and meanings are cycled, but without the fault of repetition, these are the three adornments of circumambulation. Second, examples are given to illustrate its classification. First, the adornment of repeating the same meaning is: The Kadampa tree cluster, its petals are fully blooming. Kutaja udgama, the hemlock tree, is very clear. This Kutaja is the hemlock tree, udgama is the name of the blooming flower, such a hemlock tree is very clear, the flowers are blooming. Kanjalya water tree, is very lush. Kakubha tree, Arjuna tree has also separated. Thus, the four different trees only state the single meaning of lushness

Even without other reasons, just the single word "expansion" is repeatedly expressed with various different words such as "completely expanded, very clear, very scattered, separated." The second is the repetition of words. For example, "The master who owns the cloud garland makes the peacocks make joyful sounds, the god of desire, the joyful Isvara, holding the makara fish banner in his hand, now makes the hearts of young people full of desire." Although there is no word repetition in this Tibetan sentence, in the Sanskrit of this verse, "Utkantha Yati" (Sanskrit Devanagari: उत्कण्ठ यति, Sanskrit Romanization: utkaṇṭha yati, Chinese literal meaning: The one who yearns) appears twice in both the first and second halves of the verse, so it is a word repetition, but in meaning, "making sounds" and "being full of desire" are different. The situation where both are repeated is: "Having conquered all the enemies of the directions, today you, the lord of men, play with the consorts in your own palace. And your enemy troops, those who were killed by you in battle, have ascended to the heavenly realm and play together with the goddesses." The commentators say that the previous explanations are that the meaning of the king conquering the enemy is repeated twice with two lines of verse, and the word "play" is also repeated twice. In the "Ocean of Melodious Speech," it is said that in the Chinese explanation, "play" appears twice, so both the words and the meaning are repeated, but since the object and the agent are different, it is not a repetition. That is, just as it is said, "If one is killed angrily on the battlefield, one will go to a good rebirth," it expresses the fame of reason that dying without retreating on the battlefield will be reborn as a god. Sixth is the ornament of negation, which is divided into essence, classification, and conclusion. First, expressing the negation of anything that should be negated with poetic language is what is called the ornament of negation. That is, there are three things to be negated, corresponding to the past, present, and future, so there are also three types of negation ornaments. If there are infinite classifications of things to be negated, then there are also infinite types of ornaments. Even so, here, from the perspective of what should be negated, examples are given for the three periods of past, present, and future, and from the poetic perspective of the language of negating what should be negated. Second, this treatise gives twenty-three examples. First, this example is shown, and then its meaning is explained, and all the following examples are shown in this way.
