If it is not here, then should it be considered that the explanation of the sound that clarifies similarity should not be enumerated at this time? Even if there are no similar sounds such as "like," it can still be understood as similar. Because the meaning of the word has become the sound that clarifies similarity, it is most appropriate to narrate it when explaining the sound that makes one understand similarity. Moreover, in this treatise, all those actually spoken are many words with meanings that are no less than examples, which have become phrases, such as the sound of having a rabbit-marked face, etc., which also clarifies similarity. If the words in between "one with a rabbit mark, like the face of the moon" are omitted and said to be "one with the face of the moon," it can be understood as "one with the face like the moon," without the need for the word "like." And so on, from "lotus-eyed," "the power of the all-pervading one," etc., all of these kinds are included. Therefore, even if there is no actual similar sound, it can still be understood as similar, such as "competing," "surpassing," "hating," "being hostile," "declaring discord," "fighting," "mocking," "belittling," "reproaching," "preventing," "laughing in a mocking manner," "being jealous," "being intolerable," "seizing its good fortune," "obscuring its beauty," "defeating from competition," etc., are all explanations of similarity mixed with the form of discrimination. More beautiful than being similar to it, and "climbing," is also explained as going beyond it. Placing one's feet after it, entering its power, walking after it, being bound after it, preventing its manner, and the sound of "doing after it" are all explanations of similarity. So it is said. At this time, although many similar sounds have appeared, each has a corresponding word in Chinese, but in Tibetan, they are repeated. Some people combine "same shape," "similar nature," "same nature," etc., but this is prohibited by the Kham commentary. Some people think that separating them is also unreasonable, etc. There are many slightly different places in previous commentaries. The etymology of "inferior" and "slightly inferior," etc., are śāya and śyī, both of which are suffixes, because it is Tibetan.

In language, it is transformed into meanings such as "inferior." For example, if "inferior" is used as a metaphor, it would be said, "Your face is less beautiful than the moon," and so on. If the thing being compared is said to be "inferior," even if it is understood as similar, it will carry some derogatory meaning, and there are many subtle differences in expression that can be distinguished. Some sounds that are understood through meaning, for those who have not truly understood their meaning, directly listing examples of similar sounds, there are many that cannot be understood. However, if understood as above, there is no meaning that is not understood, I say. Previously, most people could not find a way to translate without repeating the Tibetan, so most of them retained the original Chinese, but Natang Sanggye Shri translated everything into Tibetan and said there were sixty-five. That is, there are twenty-two clarifications of the meaning of examples, eighteen clarifications of similar meanings, fifteen clarifications of metaphoric decorations, and ten sounds like these, divided into four parts, but there is still repetition. Moreover, these four parts have never appeared in Chinese commentaries. The Kham commentary "Ocean of Melodious Speech" says that "unbearable" and above are divided into one part, and below is divided into one part, which is how it is said in Chinese commentaries. These are only symbolic, and there are those that are more superior or more wonderful than the beauty of a lotus face, and those that have become that state, those that are the same as that state, those that have no difference, and those that overwhelm it, etc. Through various different word details, similarities can also be understood. Third, for the decoration of tangible things, briefly explain its characteristics, explain its classification in detail through examples, and the summary conducted jointly with metaphoric decoration, there are three parts in total. First, for those metaphors and things being compared that have become similar in nature, instead of stating them separately and saying they are similar, the thing being compared is expressed in the form of a metaphor, so that the two do not appear to be separate, but are considered to be one meaning, such metaphoric decoration is considered to be the "decoration of tangible things." Because the thing being compared is expressed in the form of a metaphor. Second, the twenty categories of internal divisions are shown in order, such as, "The arms are vines, the hands are lotuses, the feet are branches." Like this, the connecting word or the sixth case word between the metaphor and the thing being compared is omitted. Also, the vines of the hands, the fingers are branches, the rays of light from the nails have become flowers.
