Mar. Or, the Situ translation says it's slightly red. This is called Dharma simile, why? Because it actually shows the red luster similar to lotus and palm. Your face is like a lotus, your eyes are like blue lotuses. Just saying that makes one understand that they have the same similarity, which is the simile of things expressed through the arrangement of words of simile and the object of simile. In either of these two cases, it is necessary to express all the figures of speech of simile that explicitly have words of similarity, so it is universally applicable to the general case. It is also said in the Extensive Play Sutra: The three realms are impermanent like autumn clouds, the birth and death of beings is like watching a dance, the life of a person is like lightning in the sky, flowing swiftly like water cascading down a cliff. It's like that. Like your face, the beauty of the lotus is completely blooming. Like this, in the world, lotuses etc. are used as similes to arrange, but now it is reversed, taking the face as the simile and the lotus as the object of simile. Therefore, it is considered a reversed simile. Your face is like a lotus, and the lotus is like your face. In this way, the simile and the object of simile mutually praise the excellent qualities, which is the mutual simile. In this case, and in some other cases, in order to supplement the verses, some conjunctions of words etc. are not emphasized literally, but are mainly explained in a way that is easy to understand the meaning. Your face is exactly like a lotus, and not like anything else. In this way, nothing else can be compared to the face except the lotus, so this is a simile that is determined to be unique. For the time being, your face is like a lotus, and if there are other things that follow it like that, then it will also become a simile. In this way, this is not determined to be a unique simile, so it is an uncertain simile. Your face, merely by its beauty, does not follow the moon, but also by the action of creating joy. Like this, there are also similes that include other attributes on top of one similar attribute. Your face can only be seen on your body, and the moon can only be seen in the sky, differing only because of this, and there is no other distinguishing attribute, this is a very excellent simile or an outstanding simile.

Moon, you don't need to boast that my beauty is similar to yours, because the lotus also has such beauty. This is called a simile in the manner of speculation, it is a simile of speculation. If some lotus flowers have beautiful eyebrows and lively eyes, then the beauty of your face, beautiful woman, can be compared to it. This is called a wonderful simile that surpasses simile. Slender you, because everyone thinks your face is like a rabbit, I chased after the moon with the thought that your face is the moon. This is said to be a simile of confusion, mistaking the simile for the object of simile. Because the world generally believes that the face is like the moon, this misunderstanding arises based on this statement. Here, in the white and beautiful red, this black thing is swaying, is it a bee flying in the lotus? Or are the eyes on your face turning? My heart is wavering. This is called a simile of doubt because they are very similar to each other, using the manner of doubt to make a simile, it is a simile of doubt. The beauty that makes the moon ashamed, because it is not a lotus that the moon has subdued, so that is your face. This is called a simile that produces certainty based on reason, it is a simile of certainty. The simile of certainty above is determined as one simile, if this is called a simile of certainty obtained, then the name will be different, that would be better. The one with cool rays is the enemy of the moon, because it subdues the moon, and the lotus, from which the goddess Lakshmi was born, therefore it has splendor, and it has fragrance, because of these, your face is like a lotus. This is called a simile because the object of simile and the simile are combined in many similar attributes. Here, the object of simile is the face, which is the enemy of the moon, that is, making the moon feel ashamed, having beautiful splendor, and the breath from the body and mouth is fragrant. Because they are expressed simultaneously with similar words that are applicable to both the simile and the object of simile, it is a simile where the simile and the object of simile are the same, for example: the flower garland of the garden is like a maiden. Why? Because on the occasion of the simile, there is the fragrance of the Sal tree.
