are all included. The words in languages such as "cowherd" in India are considered to be corrupted sounds in poetics. Once, in a small place in India, Khyungjuk (Vishnu) worked as a cowherd, taking care of the cattle. When heavy rain fell, he lifted the mountain to protect the cattle, so Khyungjuk was called Govinda (Tibetan: གོ་བིནྡྷ,Sanskrit Devanagari: गोविन्द,Sanskrit Romanization: Govinda, Chinese literal meaning: cowherd). It is said that there are still many cows in that area today. In all the treatises on sound, everything close to Sanskrit is said to be corrupted, because it is a corruption or deformation of the sound of Sanskrit. So, what poetic texts are bound by these languages? Texts composed in Sanskrit have various lengths of chapters, such as the thirty-fourth chapter of the master hero's poem "Jataka Tales" and so on. Composed in natural language are the poems "Skandha-ka" and "Ga-tha" etc. by Rab-mchog-sde. Composed in corrupted language are the poems "O-pa" and "Sa-ga" etc., and the drama "Bha-na-ka" etc. are a mixture of all languages. Stories and legends etc. are mostly written in these four languages in various ways, mainly in Sanskrit. In addition, works called "wonderful stories" or "great legends" are said to be written entirely in the language of the Yakshas. The language of the Yakshas is also called the language of the flesh-eaters. Secondly, regarding the style or ornamentation of poetry, a brief explanation of the ten qualities that constitute verbal ornamentation and possess the essence of beautiful language, a detailed explanation of their meanings, and finally a summary of the main points, in three parts. The first part includes the fact that there are generally many ways of classifying, and specifically explaining the ten qualities, in two parts. First, this style of poetry mainly expresses the elegance of the body, the playfulness of gestures, gait and gaze, etc., pleasing language, such as the expression of drama, showing the field of action to be seen not only with the ears but also with the eyes, therefore it is poetry with the meaning of seeing. The other mainly expresses not the object of seeing, but the object of hearing, that is, poetry with the meaning of hearing.

This is also what the former scholars said about the two types of poetry classification. Some say that this is not suitable for the decoration of poetry, so it should be considered as a classification of the body, but it should not be counted as a classification of mixed prose and verse, so it is a classification of expression style. Taking the two styles mentioned as an example, even if that poem has many subtle decorative classifications, it is because of each other's different views, but there are also many paths of words. Secondly, regarding the way of writing poetry, here the differences in the views of the scholars' origins, namely the southern Indian Vaidarbha and the eastern Gauda, will be clearly stated, because in these places, the various classification views of the path of poetry will converge. That is, combination, extreme purity, equality, pleasantness, extreme youth, clarity of meaning, manifestation of vast merit, majesty, beauty, and the merit of samadhi, these ten merits are considered the life of the southern Vaidarbha poetry path. By presenting these views of the southerners in an almost opposite way, it represents the path of the eastern Gauda. The second part is the same as the order of the brief overview, in the ten categories, first identify the essence of the merit of combination. Clarify the respective paths with examples, etc., and should be understood appropriately in the following chapters. Because not too many chapter divisions are made here, but narrated as usual, it is easy to understand, so it is done this way. Combination, in general, because there are more letters of great breath, the sound becomes tense, but it does not touch relaxation. In this regard, the meaning of soft and rough or tight and loose is: the letters of the five articulation points. The first group: ཀ་ཙ་ཊ་ཏ་པ་ (ka ca ṭa ta pa, ka ca ṭa ta pa, ka ca ṭa ta pa) etc., the third group: ག་ཛ་ཌ་ད་བ་ (ga ja ḍa da ba, ga ja ḍa da ba, ga ja ḍa da ba) etc., the fifth group: ང་ཉ་ཎ་ན་མ་ (nga nya ṇa na ma, nga ña ṇa na ma, nga ña ṇa na ma) five, and the final ཡ་ར་ལ་ཝ་ (ya ra la wa, ya ra la va, ya ra la wa) etc. nineteen, are called soft sound, light, small breath, relaxed, soft and best letters. When reciting these, it is called that way because the airflow in the mouth is small. The remaining ཁ་ (kha, kha, kha) etc. five, གྷ་ (gha, gha, gha) etc. five, and ཤ་ཥ་ས་ཧ་ཀྵ་ (śa ṣa sa ha kṣa, sha sha sa ha ksha, sha sha sa ha ksha) etc. fifteen, are the opposite of the above, and are called rough sound, heavy, big breath, tight, hard and inferior letters. Like that...
