I (the author) and, widening the eyes and proclaiming "Alala" etc. in a wondrous manner, and with slow, peaceful, and loving gestures, expressing the serene demeanor in the body, this is a special dance step in dance, and being proficient in these is art. These, having become proficient from learned teachers, as seen with one's own eyes and practiced, are called knowing the sixty-four arts that are needed in the world. Furthermore, the sixty-four arts of desire, and crafts etc. that belong to art, are indeed very numerous. Elephants have flowing manes, horses have sharp horns, the castor oil plant has heavy pith, and wet sandalwood has no pith. This (poem) is worldly, contradicts reality, and is therefore condemned by all. Saying that elephants cannot have manes, horses cannot have horns, the castor oil plant is soft like a sprout and has no pith, and wet sandalwood is hard and has no hard pith, this contradicts what everyone sees with their own eyes, and will therefore be condemned by all. What is called reasoning is to speak of what contradicts the reasoning of argumentation. Among these, an example of contradicting Buddhist reasoning is: The Tathagata said that conditioned phenomena are perishable, this is true, but even so, the beautiful woman with the eyes of a Chakora bird still dwells in my heart. This illustrates that if something is conditioned, then it must be perishable, although this is a universal rule, but the beautiful woman with the eyes of a Chakora bird still dwells in my heart or mind, and if it perishes in an instant, then it is unreasonable for it to still dwell in the mind. The woman with the eyes of a Chakora bird is also a conditioned phenomenon, so it is impossible for her to exist without perishing in reality. What contradicts the reasoning of the Samkhya school is: The Samkhyas believe that the arising of things that have not been seen before is because they already exist in the cause, and if they did not exist before, they could not arise. But why do we see new things arising that did not exist before? Such views that contradict reasoning should be observed comprehensively. Next, examples of contradicting the scriptures will be explained. Even though the fire is not kindled, the Brahmins who have given birth to sons, adorned with undiminished practice, perform the Vaishvanara sacrifice.

It is said in the scriptures that if the fire from the time of the son's birth is not extinguished, the son will perform the fire offering. The Vedas say, "Whoever keeps the fire burning, when a son is born, the sacrifice of Vaishvanara (Sanskrit: वैश्वानर, Romanized Sanskrit: vaiśvānara, literal meaning: Universal Man) is experienced." It is said that the fire god is the son of the sage Vaishvanara, and therefore, the cause of his son's lineage is given to him, so Vaishvanara is the common name of fire and the fire god, and therefore, the fire offering is performed. Even if the fire from the time of one's own birth is not kept burning, those of the Brahmin caste who have not declined from the birth of a son perform the sacrifice of Vaishvanara, that is, fire. This contradicts the scriptures. Also, after performing the ritual to attain Brahminhood, one should read the Vedas from the guru. It is not said in the Vedas that one should read without performing the ritual. However, this person reads the Vedas from the gurus without performing the ritual. For example, a naturally pure crystal does not need other actions to purify it. Like this. By attaining Brahminhood through ritual, Brahmins are also called twice-born. It is said like that. Such faults, all these and like these, sometimes poets and scholars, faults far exceed the number, and grasp the path of merit. Thus, there are special expressions without faults. For example, it seems to contradict the place, but there is no fault: "The power of that king, his garden is the abode of the trees of the gods, with oily branches and leaves." This is to say that human trees do not have the oily color of the branches of the trees of the gods, but due to the power of merit, it may be so. As it is said in the Sutra of the Fire-born Legend. It is not a fault even if it contradicts the time: "The omen of the king's destruction, the wind mixed with the pollen of the Kadamba tree, shakes the leaves growing on the seven-leaved tree, and the strong wind is blowing." The Kadamba flower blooms in summer, and the leaves of the tree with seven leaves per node appear in autumn, so these two trees cannot grow together, but ominous omens such as the death of the king may occur, so it does not contradict the time.
