Even to anyone, we should not cause harm. Thus it is said. And again it is said: Like Mount Sumeru surrounded by the kings of mountains, the king of men who possesses extremely vast and stable wisdom, together with the assembly of wise and intelligent ministers, engages in deliberations on the increasingly prosperous affairs of the state. Thus it is said. The chapter describing the journey of the messenger, from the branch of the father and son meeting: This lord of the earth, whom the heart anticipates, when going forth to meet him for such a reason, the excellence made clear by his kindness, brings forth the nectar filled with the taste of joy. Thus it is said. Here it is said: On the hair knots of the minor kings, the command of the king of men serving as a stepping stone, the messengers holding jeweled necklaces, go to other places with swift force. Thus it is said. Going to other places, from the biography of the noble maiden Magadha: Thereafter the night passed, and in the morning all the monks, adorned with various divine garments, descended from the heavenly palace into the sky. Thus and so forth is widely spoken. And also like the example therein: On the jeweled chariot well drawn by many excellent horses adorned with gold, this lord of the earth, seated joyfully, goes forth watching the various landscapes of the country. Thus it is said. Describing battle, from the story of Indra: Thereafter the great sound of clashing weapons mingled with war, and the sound of drums beating was extremely fierce, the surface of the sky was like hair. Thus and so forth is widely spoken. Here also it is said: The banners of the assembled fierce divine army, propelled by the wind that spies on the enemy, like the thunder of terrifying churning black clouds, increases the courage of the white side's complete victory. Thus it is said. Describing the flourishing of the guide: From the biography of I-can: The remainder dwelling in comfort from fatigue, all the waves of the water treasury, the earth-holder mother possessing a girdle, will all be seized by the arms. Thus and so forth it is said. Here, to illustrate the flourishing of the guide through the merit of politics: The hearts of the people of the four directions, swollen with pride, tremble when threatened by whose name, the king of men possessing the splendor of the complete fourfold army, the power and wealth shine like the light of a billion suns. Like that. To illustrate the flourishing of the guide through the merit of Dharma,

The supreme Jampal's (Mañjuśrī) joyful white smile, bestows upon the mind the power of fearless courage. To the assembly of great elephants extending the net of vast learning, you are the lion guru who subdues their might. Thus, and so forth, it is to be said how it flourishes in various aspects of qualities. Thus, in the incidental explanation of the meaning of poetry praising a place, it is said how the flavor of poetry arises in these words of praise. As Bhāmaha thinks, first, to the leader of the object of praise, by praising with great virtues such as bravery and intelligence, and then, through it, in the manner of speech that harms other enemies, or rather, this manner itself is naturally beautiful in the combination of words. By noble birth, great diligence, and extensive learning, etc., even the enemy is extensively praised, and if it is said that it is difficult to defeat such an enemy, but the leader of the object of praise can defeat them, then the leader of the object of praise is extremely excellent, and for such a combination, the teacher Dandin himself is pleased and thinks so. Thus it is said. Second, explaining prose, revealing the essence of meaning. To this, refuting the view that it is divided into two. First, the continuity of words that are not divided into separate paragraphs is prose. Thus it is said. Second, the poetician Bhāmaha said this: speech and talk, this classification of prose has two types, to this, the leader himself, praising his own actions and virtues, this is called "telling". Thus it is thought. "Lo" is a word of dissatisfaction. Other talk is praise of other leaders or ordinary talk that is not praise, others can also do it, in short, it is describing the state of something other than oneself. To this, as it is said: praising oneself, even Indra is not beautiful. Thus it is said, then wouldn't proclaiming one's own merits become a fault? Answer: In cases where there is a need, showing one's actions and merits in this way, because it is a praise that is without falsehood and truly credible, there is no fault. Thus it is said. To this, expressing uncertainty. However, for such a classification, certainty is not seen, because the leader
