Moreover, a Bodhisattva's divine eye sees many things within the range of a chariot wheel's circumference. Similarly, a Bodhisattva sees beings within the range of three thousand great thousand worlds, but the Tathagata's divine eye sees even more countless beings residing within the range of a chariot wheel's circumference. Likewise, the thoughts, mental events, past and future, of all beings residing in the ten directions' infinite worlds, even Bodhisattvas abiding in inconceivable liberation cannot easily count or conceive of them in as many kalpas as there are sands in the Ganges. Thus, the Tathagata said that he knows all the minds and mental events of all beings of the three times, each and every one, without confusion, spontaneously in an instant. Furthermore, the Tathagata arises from the cause of great compassion and is of the nature of great compassion, so his power of loving-kindness is immeasurable, like the number and realms of beings. Thus, even during the stage of learning, all maturation, taming, and purification are solely under the influence of altruistic great compassion. When these reach their culmination and one realizes the non-dual wisdom of emptiness and compassion, how can one ever measure the power of his great loving-kindness? Because it pervades all directions and all times. As it is said in the sutra: Great King, the Shramana Gautama possesses great loving-kindness and has a mind without anger towards all beings. His loving-kindness is without attachment, without obscuration, constantly arising, naturally accomplished, vast and complete, pervading all realms, and following the thoughts of all beings. And: "All times and all realms, he fills the world with loving-kindness, also fills the intentions of all sentient beings, the all-knowing one possesses loving-kindness. The incomparable Muni's loving-kindness, has no place that it does not pervade, also pervades the realms and intentions, therefore the all-knowing one is without fault. For example, a jewel is clear water, extremely pure and full of water, likewise, the sage's mind is pure, making the defilements of beings pure." And so on.

In the great play, it is said: This is the mighty one, the supreme tree king, with wrathful contention, Leading the hosts of demons, holding banners and claws, With the power of black roots, subduing the enemies of compassion, Even in the peace of unsurpassed Bodhi, he attains realization. As it is said, it should be known that all the deeds of the Tathagata's path and the state of fruition are driven by great compassion. Such a Tathagata, even in the space of a tiny dust particle of his body hair, can show completely and distinctly, without confusion or obscuration, all the phenomena of existence and peace, encompassing the ten directions and three times. Even if all the containers and contents reaching the limits of the sky are placed in the space of a single dust particle, the dust particle will not become coarse, and the world will not become small. In a single moment, he can show the wonderful play of countless activities known in the three times. The sutras also mention an example: There is a pond of eight thousand yojanas, filled with water and covered with lotuses. A person rides on an iron chariot pulled by a steed that surpasses the speed of the wind. The hooves of the horses and the circumference of the chariot do not touch the water, and the lotus leaves are not pierced by the hooves of the horses. They run with such swiftness. When a venomous snake appears from within the pond and the iron chariot cannot return, the snake circles the chariot eight times. In the time it takes for the snake to circle once, the Venerable Ananda can teach eight thousand Dharma teachings and enable beings to understand their meaning. In the time it takes for Ananda to speak a single word, Maudgalyayana can teach eight thousand Dharma teachings and enable beings to understand their meaning. In the time it takes for Maudgalyayana to speak a single word, Shariputra can teach eight thousand Dharma teachings and enable beings to understand their meaning. In the time it takes for Shariputra to speak a single word, a Pratyekabuddha can teach countless Dharma teachings. In the time it takes for a Pratyekabuddha to speak a single word, a Bodhisattva can teach countless, inconceivable, and inexpressible Dharmas. In the time it takes for a Bodhisattva to speak a single word, Maudgalyayana can transcend eighty trillion worlds with his miraculous powers. In the time it takes for Maudgalyayana to transcend each miraculous power, the Tathagata, from the time of generating the mind of enlightenment until entering
