And, because it explains the three, namely, Samadhi, and Wisdom, it is said that it is virtuous in the beginning, middle, and end, in accordance with the stages of the path. In that particular instance, it is mainly due to the stages of practice. The good meaning is that it accurately explains the characteristics of the two truths, conventional and ultimate. Therefore, it is not like a meaningless treatise such as crow divination, nor is it a trivial matter like counting the number of leaves on a tree or the number of insects in the body, but it is able to dispel confusion about all objects of knowledge and thus determine the ultimate meaning. The good words and phrases are free from defects such as unfamiliarity with the combination of names, words, and letters, confusion of syntax, and poor expression. Unlike some non-Buddhist treatises, which deliberately use obscure language to make it difficult to understand, it is easy to understand and grasp, with clear meaning and pleasing to the ear, in accordance with the minds of those to be tamed by the compassionate heart of the Thus-Gone One. In terms of essence, it possesses the four qualities of pure conduct. Moreover, the unmixed is that it teaches the subtle impermanence, the suffering of conditioned existence, and selflessness, which are not common to other non-Buddhists, and therefore it is an uncommon quality that is not mixed with others. As it is said: "That which subdues all the enemies of affliction and protects from the state of evil destinies, because of the virtues of subduing and protecting, it is a treatise, and these two are not found in other systems." Like that. Complete means that it is not a temporary means of pacifying only a part of afflictions such as desire, nor is it a temporary means of pacifying only a part of suffering like medicine for disease, but it is a complete antidote that uproots all the afflictions of the three realms. As the holy Regent said: "Whatever is closely related to meaningful Dharma and speaks of abandoning afflictions from all three realms, and whatever teaches the benefits of peace, that is the speech of a righteous person, and the opposite is otherwise." Just like that. Completely pure means that what is expressed is the nature of the knowable realm of phenomena, which is inherently pure, and is pure from the beginning. Moreover, the wisdom that has it as its object is also in accordance with the realm of phenomena, and therefore it is devoid of the elaboration of perversion.

This is shown. Completely purified means that the Dharmadhatu is pure by its very nature. Like this, for those who have not realized it, the adventitious stains, along with their habitual tendencies, are also purified by the path of measuring without reversing their nature, thereby manifesting the reality that exists as it is. From the perspective of adventitious freedom from stains and purity, it is said in this way. Like this, Brahma (Tibetan: ཚངས་པ་) refers to Nirvana. The Dharma that is its path or conduct is said to possess the four qualities of Brahmacharya. Like this, the three virtues, the two good qualities, and these four Brahmacharyas are also mentioned in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Faith, joy, and wisdom are the causes for this Dharma, which is virtuous. Possessing two meanings and easy to grasp, it reveals Brahmacharya with four qualities." Also, the four Brahmacharyas are: "Having unique characteristics not shared with others, completely abandoning the afflictions of the three realms, being pure in nature and free from stains, it is considered to be Brahmacharya with four qualities." As it is said. Second, the detailed explanation is divided into: showing it as the supreme to be adopted, and showing it as the ultimate reliance. First, there are two parts: a brief explanation and a detailed explanation. First, "The Dharma is well-spoken by the Bhagavan," meaning that the Dharma taught by the Buddha Bhagavan, the authoritative being who perceives all knowable things with unobstructed wisdom, is well-spoken, possessing the nature of being complete in all virtues and free from all faults. Because other non-Buddhist doctrines, obscured by ignorance, are accompanied by many faults of contradiction, they are not well-spoken. Thus it is said. Second, the detailed explanation is divided into showing it from the aspect of being free from faults and from the aspect of possessing virtues. First, the meaning of the three words, "rightly seen," etc. How is it well-spoken? It is "rightly seen," or, in some examples, it is said to be "rightly shown." Just as a clear-eyed person sees an object, he sees the reality of things without error and shows it as it is. Therefore, the disciples can also rely on it to see the reality without error, so it is "rightly seen," which is a synonym for "there is no mistake in this." In the commentary of the Great Treatise, although it explains that it is necessary to examine the meaning and gain certainty, not just the words, this has not become the opposite of remembering the qualities of the Dharma.
