The nature that both lack is non-existence, which means without it, nothing arises. Because the dharma is not related like the sign, the dharma does not necessarily have to be related to the sign. Therefore, even if the sign-dharma of things like a vase is shown to be together, it does not prove the pervasiveness of without which nothing arises. Merely showing that the example and the dharma are the same does not prove that the sign-dharma exists together, that is, it cannot prove without which nothing arises, nor is it a proof of without which nothing arises. If it is said that the opposite is shown by the meaning of the subsequent, that is, without non-arising, is there anything else to say? Even if it should not be said that there is nothing on the dissimilar side, if it is not said, it will cause error. If it is said that the relationship of without which nothing arises is shown by showing the reverse pervasiveness of the dissimilar side, then the meaning of the opposite of what is to be proven is not something that has not been grasped by it. Because in the dharma to be proven, there was no previous similar dharma, so it is said to be meaningless. Or, from here, is the subsequent counter-example meaningless? In short, without which nothing arises can be proven by one example, what is the use of other examples? This is because this is the occasion of the example. Other relationships of without which nothing arises are proven by that side. If both the sign-dharma have a relationship, then merely by showing the permanent dharma that arises without effort, the unwanted permanent dharma will also be obtained, such as forest fires, lightning, wisdom, etc., will also become permanent dharma because of non-effort. The uniqueness proven by something other than equal pervasiveness is not the fault of the example. It has already been shown. If the sign-dharma pervasiveness is not equal, belonging to any one of the proven unique ones, then are all these the faults of the example? For this, if non-touchable is used to prove permanent dharma, no matter how wisdom, vases, etc. are arranged, they appear like examples. Permanent dharma cannot prove touchable, if space is arranged, it also appears like an example, if it is said like this, it is not right, because it has already been said that equal pervasiveness is not needed. The rational ones say that from the dharma to be proven, the example of sound impermanence and arising from effort being the same, the dharma to be proven, the example of understanding, such as a vase, and the opposite way, the example is reversed, is a dissimilar example. For that kind of statement, because it does not show the relationship, so as the reason for understanding, that example is not visible, so it is unreasonable. Merely showing the pervasiveness related to the argument

Therefore, the so-called "example" should not be understood as functional, just as the impermanence of sound is like the sky. Even if it doesn't show the connection, if an example can prove the Dharma, then everything can prove everything. Therefore, an example that doesn't rely on reason is invalid. If both reason and example can be seen, then only one is needed, not both. Similarly, both examples are the same. To understand the impermanence of sound, mentioning both example and reason becomes meaningless, because both example and reason become ways of proving. Even if needed, an example needs to be derived from other examples, which would lead to endlessness. Some students of rational schools say that the Dharma to be proven based on an example is permanent, which is unreasonable. Even if two examples are put together, nothing can be understood by example alone. This is also the reason for the above reasoning. The Dharma to be proven and the example should not be put together, because it cannot be understood. What should be used as the basis to compare what Dharma? For example, for the impermanence of sound, using a made pot as an example, and then saying that the sound is also like that, or again saying that the impermanence of the sound to be proven is also like that, such an analogy is unreasonable, because it is linguistic redundancy or deficiency. Saying "the pot is made, and the sound is also made" such a sentence, or therefore saying "like a pot, the sound is also impermanent" such a sentence is meaningless, because it is not necessary. If someone says that taking the made as the reason, this is the generality of the made, and the made of the pot is the particularity of the made, so it is not meaningless. Then, it's like saying "because it is made, it is impermanent, like a pot, the sound is also impermanent because it is made" such a five-membered argument. The generality of the made itself is considered the reason, while the particularity of the made relies on each Dharma and only follows it, so the example is not universally applicable. The disagreeing Dharma is: the opposite of the made, to negate the permanent, that is, to cut off the simultaneous existence of the made and the permanent, is that what is being said? Is the conclusion or analogy for that purpose? No, because saying the made cuts that off, it's not necessary. If that is not cut off, then analogy cannot cut it off either, let alone just an example. That's how it is. If the made is not related to the opposite permanent, then there is no need to add other branches for that purpose. Cut off.
