I am the nature of the human lineage, pervading all that is stable and moving, the sole friend of beings, for I take upon myself all evils. Wisdom is the ultimate nature, the lion among men, having obtained the inexhaustible, co-emergent body, abiding in all beings, until the time when all people are exhausted, that is, having obtained the co-emergent state, therefore I exist for the sake of beings. That yogi, even with a crooked body, even dwelling in lying-down meditation, is upright, for he has transcended crookedness. He does not dwell on a cushion, but even when walking, his dwelling is stable, and he does not go. Even when his eyes are closed, they are open, and he is fully awake or conscious. Even when he is in the four activities of non-meditation, he is in meditation, for he abides in Suchness. Even though he possesses speech, he is truly silent or inexpressible, for he abides in the inexpressible Suchness. Even though he enjoys the pleasures of desire, he is free from grasping, for he realizes that objects are unobtainable. Even though he is the protector of all the world, he is without pride, but becomes the servant of others. Whoever realizes Suchness, all the faults of samsara will be exhausted. Such luminous Suchness, with the vehicle of cause, is realized in three countless eons, but here, with the means of mantra, it is realized in an instant, obtaining the four attainments and liberation simultaneously, even though abiding in a human body, the intention of the Buddha arises. Among men, he is the lion who destroys the expanse of existence and dwells alone in freedom, with his own wisdom, he grasps the play of others' knowledge, he is the manifestation of the lion, from the mudra and the stable and moving beings, he obtains the inexhaustible, co-emergent time. Even when he looks with open eyes, he is closing his eyes, for he sees all that is internal and external as the nature of Suchness, like closing his eyes and abiding in meditation, inwardly absorbed. As it is said in the commentary of Nagarjuna. Or, even if he sits with his eyes closed, or sleeps, all abide in the luminous clarity of emptiness, therefore seeing the Suchness of all things, so it is said that he is opening his eyes or fully awake, it is also good to say so. The one who sees Suchness, no matter what kind of activity with elaboration he does, he is actually doing an activity that is extremely without elaboration.

Thus, unwavering from the realization of suchness, it is for the sake of stabilizing the samadhi that sees all appearances and experiences as illusory. Fourth, identifying the two aspects of the yoga of the practice of clear light: Thus, a disciple who has received the oral instructions should then learn the two yogas, which are they? Namely, the stage of complete grasping and the stage of subsequent dissolution. Relying on the essence of the single body of Vajradhara for all that is moving and unmoving, contemplating from the head to the feet, that is, until it reaches the heart, and gathering it in a way that it is imperceptible, entering the ultimate end of true yoga is said to be complete grasping. In the center, on the eight-spoked wheel of dharma, all the letters A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, literal Chinese meaning: A) are arranged, With the wisdom of the selflessness of all phenomena, from this, this is elaborated, burning or purifying from the head to the feet, above and below, and then gathering back into the heart, and gathering in this way is complete grasping. Grasping the mass of the six elements as imperceptible is complete grasping. First, gradually gather the moving and unmoving, and make it clear light, and with the rays of light emanating from the pores of one's own skin, clarify the objects of moving and unmoving, dividing them into minute particles, and if analyzed and observed, purify them as if they appear imperceptible, and gather oneself in the same way as imperceptible. From the outside, gathering oneself in this way is the stage of subsequent dissolution. There are two examples for this: like the reflection of the moon appearing in clear water, it is an appearance without essence, and like the breath on a mirror disappearing, that appearance is also thought of as imperceptible. Both of these, just as the breath of air is breathed on a mirror, how it completely dissolves, so too the yogis repeatedly enter the ultimate end of truth, for the sake of making the clear light appear like lightning for a moment, not constantly stable. In meditative equipoise, the two subsequent attainments of suchness, clear light, and illusion-like, are alternately meditated on the path of learning, from those alternating, not simultaneously, the union of the two truths of mantra is equal, extremely pure, for the sake of obtaining the wisdom of the Buddha at the time of fruition, gathering the appearances of illusion into clear light, repeatedly practicing, and entering the state of no more learning by obtaining the union of fruition.
