If you fall asleep with intention, then by virtue of that intention it will become virtuous. Even if you have no intention at the time of sleep, that's fine. Second, cultivating the four immeasurables that are in accordance: love that wishes all sentient beings to be happy, compassion that wishes them to be free from suffering, joy that rejoices in those who have happiness, and equanimity that spreads without partiality to all sentient beings. You should always and correctly meditate on these four. Even if you have not Attained the higher Buddhahood, you will still obtain the immeasurable happiness of the Brahma world. Second, the actual advice to meditate on the four dhyanas: the method of meditating on the special calm abiding dhyana. The antidote branch, using investigation and analysis to deal with desire, abandoning desire, hatred, etc. The benefit branch, obtaining the joy and happiness born from solitude. The place branch, one-pointedness of mind, i.e., the first dhyana. Similarly, abandoning investigation and analysis with pure clarity, the mind possessing joy and happiness is the second. Abandoning joy with equanimity and mindfulness, the mind possessing happiness is the third. Abandoning happiness with mindfulness and perfect equanimity, obtaining the one-pointedness of mind that corresponds with equanimity of feeling, i.e., obtaining the fourth dhyana, and also abandoning all suffering and unpleasantness. In this way, by means of the four dhyanas of absorption that are the cause of abandoning what is to be abandoned, one obtains in sequence the results of the Brahma host, the clear light, the completely virtuous, and the great fruit gods, i.e., in essence Being born there. Third, the subsequent actions are two: general explanation of what to adopt and abandon, and in particular, the method of abandoning the obscurations of samadhi. First, explaining the weight of good and evil, and advising to generate powerful virtue as an antidote to non-virtue. First, whether it is good or evil, if it is done constantly 1, and done with strong attachment 2, and that action has no antidote to destroy itself 3, and the basis of qualities 4 or field 5, such as the Three Jewels, etc., and is superior, i.e., the action that mainly benefits from the general field and arises from the basis of the field of suffering. These five kinds of virtuous and non-virtuous actions are more excellent and greater than other actions. Therefore, non-virtue

One should abandon great sins and strive to practice great virtues. Secondly, just as the power of virtue is great, for example, a few ounces of salt can change the taste of a small amount of water, but cannot change the taste of the great Ganges River. Similarly, even if small sins are committed, they cannot harm the vast and profound roots of virtue, please know. Secondly, the method of eliminating the obstacles to samadhi. Distraction of the mind wandering outwards, and regret for past actions, etc., and the mind of harming others, and dullness in the mind, and sleep that gathers awareness inward, and craving for desirable sense pleasures with defilements, and doubt about the path and fruit, etc. These five obstacles are thieves who steal the wealth of virtue, please know, this is the teaching. Here, distraction and regret are combined into one because they are similar in terms of agitation, and dullness and sleep are combined into one because they are similar in terms of unclearness. Sixth, there are two aspects to wisdom. Briefly explain the nature of the five paths of faith, etc., and explain in detail the wisdom of mindfulness, etc. In the first aspect, there are two things: showing the faith, etc., that should be taken, and eliminating arrogance through the method of antidote. First, the faith of aspiring to virtue, and the diligence of rejoicing in it, and the mindfulness of not forgetting the previous object, and the samadhi of focusing on the object with one-pointedness, and the wisdom of distinguishing dharmas, these five are the nature of the supreme dharma of the path of accumulation. Please strive for this, these five are called the five powers in the stage of forbearance, and the five roots in the stage of warmth, and reaching the peak of the path of accumulation is not other than these five. Secondly, sickness and aging and birth and death and suffering and separation, etc., the cause of these sufferings does not exceed the karma I have created, therefore I am the hand of the cause and effect of suffering. Thinking like this again and again is the way to counteract the things to be abandoned, so that arrogance such as having samadhi and wisdom will not arise. Or, by counteracting the arrogance of lineage, etc., arrogance will not arise, thus eliminating arrogance, it is also said.

Secondly, it explains that the root of all goodness in samsara and nirvana is wisdom, and the actual path of possessing that wisdom. Firstly, the root of both higher realms and definite goodness is the correct worldly view, and the root of definite goodness is the view that correctly transcends the world. First. If you do not desire both higher realms and liberation, let alone that, if you desire or wish for manifestation, then you should become fully accustomed to the correct worldly view of realizing that karma and its results are infallible. If someone has the wrong view that there are no karmic results, even if they seemingly practice virtue, it will not benefit them, and ultimately it will ripen into unbearable suffering of uninterrupted hell. Here, in the Tara Commentary, it says, 'If one gives alms etc. with wrong views, it is not reasonable that it ripens into unbearable results.' This is because the great result of wrong views overwhelms the small result of virtue, so that it cannot be experienced. In the Rong Commentary, it says that all previous virtuous deeds such as giving alms will also ripen into extremely bad and unbearable results, because wrong views uproot the roots of virtue. Secondly, speaking according to the capacity of those to be tamed, humans are truly unhappy and suffering, and do not remain in the second moment, so one should recognize impermanence, the absence of a self as an agent, and the impure nature of the body. Those who do not maintain mindfulness of such meanings view purity, happiness, permanence, and self as the four inverted views, which is terrible. The second part mainly discusses the differences in views, and the actual path. In the first part, establishing the absence of self of a person, and examining the aggregates as the basis of the self. First, as stated in the sutras, the nature of the form aggregate is not self, because it is not the same entity, and similarly, the self is not related to form like a lotus and mud, nor does the self rely on form, nor does it exist in the way that the self relies on form, similarly, for the remaining four aggregates of feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, one should also realize that they are empty of self. Secondly, the aggregates that are the basis of the absence of self are not dropped from the sky, sometimes they are
