Whether right or wrong, do not say anything to this monk. Why is that? Venerable ones, this monk is a speaker of the Dharma, a speaker of the Vinaya. This monk has correctly accepted and completely grasped the Dharma and the Vinaya, and then explains them. This monk speaks knowingly, not unknowingly. Do not say, 'Whatever this monk likes and tolerates, we also like and tolerate.' Why is that? Venerable ones, this monk is not a speaker of the Dharma, not a speaker of the Vinaya. Venerable ones, this monk is a speaker of what is not Dharma, a speaker of what is not Vinaya. This monk has incorrectly accepted and completely grasped what is not Dharma and what is not Vinaya, and then explains them. This monk speaks unknowingly, not knowingly. Do not like and tolerate what this monk likes and tolerates. Venerable ones, do not desire to divide the Sangha. Venerable ones, you should desire the harmony of the Sangha. Venerable ones, live in harmony with the Sangha! The Sangha is harmonious, not divided, everyone is happy, and there is no dispute. Holding the precepts together, reciting the precepts together, like water and milk mixed together. If you can spread the Buddha's teachings, you will abide in happiness. Venerable ones, those who follow the division of the Sangha and speak discordant words should be admonished like this: 'Give up this behavior!' If the monks admonish those monks in this way, and if they give up that behavior, that is good. If they do not give up, they should be admonished and taught again and again in order to make them give up that behavior. After admonishing and teaching again and again, if they give up that behavior, that is good. If they do not give up, it is a Sanghavasesa offense. The third case is: If there are many monks, more than those two monks, Navaso and Sugati (names of monks), they are like Raidhi Mountain, relying on and living in a certain village or town, close to the Dharma and material enjoyment. Those monks also cause the families of lay people to be annoyed by associating and enjoying.

Do you see with your eyes that the sinful Dharma is constantly practiced in evil realms, and that those people disturb the homes of Brahmins and others? Do you hear it with your ears? Or do you fully understand it with other knowledge? Do you see or hear that those people constantly practice sin? If you fully understand, then these monks should say to those monks the words of expulsion, saying: Venerable ones, you are those who disturb families and constantly practice sinful Dharma. We have seen, heard, and fully understood that you have disturbed families. We have also seen, heard, and fully understood that you constantly practice sin. Venerable ones, it is enough for you to stay here, leave this place! After such admonition, they should be expelled. If they, in turn, say to the monks: Venerable ones, here, some monks are expelled because of wealth, some monks leave because of desire, some monks are expelled because of hatred, and leave because of hatred, some leave because of ignorance due to not understanding the same faults, and some leave because of fear due to not expelling fear, because of such reasons, only because of similar downfalls, some monks like Nabso and others are expelled, while some monks like the red ones are not expelled, if they say so, then these monks should threaten and admonish the monks like Nabso, saying: Venerable ones, you say that, Venerable ones, here some monks leave because of desire, leave because of hatred, leave because of ignorance, leave because of fear, like this, only because of similar downfalls, some monks are expelled, while others are not expelled, do not lie! Why? Because those monks do not leave because of desire, do not leave because of hatred, do not leave because of ignorance, do not leave because of fear, but like this, Venerable ones, you yourselves are those who disturb families and constantly practice sinful Dharma, because you yourselves have seen, heard, and fully understood that you disturb families, we have also seen, heard, and fully understood that you constantly practice sin, therefore, Venerable ones, the path of the words 'leaving because of desire', and leaving because of hatred, leaving because of ignorance.
