If a nun arranges for food to be eaten, other than what was previously reserved at home, it is a downfall. The fourth set of ten is divided into two: a brief explanation by summary, and an explanation of each characteristic separately. The first part is the summary: eating repeatedly, eating in one place, taking more than two or three bowlfuls of flour, preparing food on the same mat, forcing abandonment, eating together, eating at the wrong time, storing food, swallowing from the mouth without giving, and begging for alms alone. The second part has ten, the first is eating repeatedly: a monk like the group of six, if he eats the five foods repeatedly, except for the permitted time, it is a downfall. The permitted time is: when one is sick and unable to survive on one food; when working for a stupa or the sangha; when one has traveled half a yojana; when a monk gives robes, in that training, that is the permitted time. The second is eating in one place: a monk like the group of six, staying overnight in an outside place, a monk who is not sick should eat only one portion of alms food. If he eats more than that, it is a downfall. The third is taking more than two or three bowlfuls: a monk like the group of six, if many monks enter the house of a householder, if Brahmins and householders who have faith in the Three Jewels repeatedly offer flour and food to those monks, if they want and seek it, those monks should take two or three full bowls. If they take more than that, it is a downfall. After taking two or three full bowls, they should go to the outer monastery, and also distribute it to the monks who are staying there, in addition to what they eat themselves. We should also eat, at that time, that is the ritual. The fourth is using the same mat: a monk like the group of six, if he has finished eating and abandoned the food, without doing anything extra, he prepares or eats food, it is a downfall. The fifth is forcing abandonment: like an old monk, if he knowingly sees that a monk has finished eating and abandoned the food, seeking an opportunity for dispute, trying to make this monk commit the offense of downfall.

Thinking, "I will do it," and with that as the cause, Venerable one, please enjoy this food! Without specifically saying, "Please eat this food," if food and drink are repeatedly taken beyond the time, it is a transgression. Sixth, gathering and eating: Again, like a Bhikshu of the Lhasejin type, whoever is not in harmony with the Sangha, gathers and eats separately, except for the permitted time, it is a transgression. The permitted times are: when sick, when working, when traveling, when embarking on a boat, during large gatherings, and during the fasting food of non-Buddhist practitioners. In these situations, it is permitted. Seventh, eating at the wrong time: Again, like a Bhikshu of the Seventeen Divisions type, from dawn until before noon is the permitted time, and from after noon until before dawn is the unpermitted time. If one consumes five types of food or drink, it is a transgression. Eighth, hoarding and eating: Again, like a Bhikshu of the Black Division type, whatever five types of food and drink are received in the morning and stored until the afternoon, and whatever is received in the afternoon and stored until after the mealtime, if one consumes it, it is a transgression. Ninth, eating without receiving: Again, like a Bhikshu of the Six Divisions type, whoever it may be, if one eats food swallowed from the mouth without receiving it from a man, woman, or hermaphrodite, except for water and toothpicks, it is a transgression. There are five ways of receiving: the body giving to the body, the body giving to what is connected to the body, what is connected to the body giving to what is connected to the body, what is connected to the body giving to the body, and placing it on top of the mandala. Tenth, begging for alms: The Blessed One spoke of these alms of food for the monks of this Dharma, such as milk, yogurt, butter, fish, meat, and dried meat. Like the Six Divisions type, if one is not a Bhikshu, and begs for milk and other foods from other householders for oneself, it is a transgression when swallowing. The fifth group of ten has two parts: summarizing with verses, and explaining each characteristic in detail. The first part is: In the verses, using water with living beings, sitting in a place prepared for sleeping, standing there,
