This is because of quiescence, and it is not necessarily a part of the downfall. If a monk wants to live in a secluded place, he should leave any of the three Dharma robes in another layperson's house. If a monk living in a secluded place needs to go outside the boundary for the sake of Sangha affairs, etc., if such a cause arises, then that monk living in a secluded place can, within six days, leave the Dharma robe in another layperson's house and be separated from the boundary. If he leaves beyond that limit, then when the dawn of the seventh day rises, he commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. Eighth, regarding the Nissaggiya of the great summer cloth: The monks should look for the great summer cloth from the first full moon day of summer when one month of the Sogas remains. After the summer is over, it can be held for half a month until the clear sky season in mid-autumn. If a monk looks for the great summer cloth before one month of the Sogas remains, or holds it for more than half a month after the summer is over, he commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. Ninth, regarding the Nissaggiya of dedication transformation: Furthermore, any monk like Nyerga, knowingly transforms the gain of clothing dedicated to the Buddha's Shravaka Sangha into his own personal property, he commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. Tenth, regarding the Nissaggiya of hoarding: The Blessed One has taught that medicines that should be relied upon separately for the benefit of sick monks, such as melted ghee, grain oil, honey, and sugarcane molasses, if a sick monk needs them, he can bless them himself for seven days and fully enjoy them by hoarding them. If he enjoys them beyond that limit, then when the dawn of the eighth day rises, he commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. Second, the conclusion: Venerable ones, I have finished reciting the thirty Nissaggiya Pacittiya Dharmas. Third, proclaiming the resolution: Therefore, I ask you, venerable ones, are you pure in this? I ask twice, three times, are you pure in this? If you, venerable ones, are pure in this, then it is accepted as such by not speaking.

Secondly, the enunciation of offenses entailing only downfall has four aspects: a general summary outline, a detailed explanation of the individual natures, a conclusion, and a declaration of the distinctions. First, in the general summary: knowingly speaking falsehoods, destroying seeds, teaching the Dharma to unordained nuns, eating repeatedly, using water containing living beings, breaking fasts in homes, intentionally killing animals, traveling with many thieves on the road, and going to feasts without exhorting householders, etc. Secondly, there are nine sets of ten. The first set of ten has three aspects: a brief outline by summary, scriptural evidence for the enunciation of offenses, and a detailed explanation of the individual natures. First, in the summary: speaking falsehoods, slandering, causing discord among monks, creating disturbances, teaching the Dharma, reciting scriptures, speaking of bad places, speaking of human virtues as supreme and true, showing favoritism, and especially killing. Secondly, Venerables, these ninety offenses entailing downfall are recited twice a month from the Pratimoksha Sutra. Thirdly, among the ten, the first is knowingly speaking falsehoods: Like the Fire-offering Born, knowingly transforming the perception of truth and speaking falsehoods, upon understanding the meaning, one commits an offense entailing downfall. The second is slandering: A monk like the Group of Six, with the intention of speaking of people's faults, if he speaks of faults and the other person is displeased or understands the meaning, he commits an offense entailing downfall. The third is causing discord: A monk like the Group of Six, desiring to cause discord among monks, says, "So-and-so said this," if the meaning is understood, he commits an offense entailing downfall. The fourth is creating disturbances: Again, a monk like the Group of Six, whichever one, if the Sangha is of one mind, and after settling any of the four disputes according to the Dharma and Vinaya, knowingly creates disturbances again through actions, he commits an offense entailing downfall. The fifth is teaching the Dharma to women: Again, a monk like Bright Appearance, speaking of the good and bad of women's places, if he teaches five phrases of Dharma, or more than five phrases, upon understanding the meaning,
