Thus it was said. Hūṃ vajra vid svāhā. (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་བིད་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།) This is the heart essence of all Tathāgatas, which accomplishes the most excellent deeds. In other tantras, this is praised as the great vidyā of the vajra family, immeasurable. Oṃ ṭuṃ. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཊུཾ།) This is the heart essence by which all beings who have fainted, been injured, or been defeated will be revived, and others will also obtain the vajra body. If one adorns oneself with the mudrā of the vajra armor, one will obtain the vajra body and vajra life, and until the end of one's life, nothing can harm one. The heart essence of Vajrapāṇi is: Ḍākki hūṃ jaḥ. (Tibetan: ཌཱཀྐི་ཧཱུྃ་ཛཿ) Merely reciting this heart essence will move and lead all the Tathāgatas who are as immovable as a vajra mountain, what need is there to mention other beings? Merely remembering it will completely liberate one from all fears. Merely reciting it will completely purify all the five inexpiable sins without exception, and it will protect all. Vajrapāṇi will also strive to fulfill all desires, accomplish the supreme, accomplish all purposes, fulfill all needs, and always follow like a shadow. Merely reciting it will grant the manifestation of all accomplishments. Thus it was said, reciting this mantra can shake the world and so on, describing the occurrence of great miracles. In other tantras, it is said to be the secret mantra of the wrathful king of desire (Kāmarāja), and also the king of summoning, and the praise is very extensive. Initially, there is also the addition of Oṃ. In this tantra, it is said: If one practices this, one will accomplish the Bhagavan, the supreme Bodhisattva. By accomplishing the Bhagavan, one will accomplish the wrathful deity of desire. Why is that? Because this heart essence itself is very great. Ḍākki (Tibetan: ཌཱཀྐི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ḍākiṇī, Sanskrit Romanization: ḍākiṇī, Chinese literal meaning: sky dancer) means desire. Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: hūṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable) means wrath. In order to summon these two, one should practice Jaḥ (Tibetan: ཛཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: jaḥ, Sanskrit Romanization: jaḥ, Chinese literal meaning: summoning). By the power of this mantra, one can make all beings happy at heart and know their minds. From their hearts, a vajra arises, making all beings indestructible, unstoppable, and transforming them into a vajra body, and it is said that reciting it once will accomplish it. In the Supreme Vidyā Tantra and other scriptures, this mantra is also praised as the heart essence of Vajrapāṇi, and it can accomplish many deeds.

It was taught to us. The essence of the heart of the Sky Essence is: (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) By this, all sentient beings will receive empowerment, and all wishes will be completely fulfilled. Furthermore, the method by which it becomes effective even without practice is: reciting it a million times will make all purposes perfect. Reciting it a million times in front of a statue of Vajrapani will uncover great treasures. Similarly, the benefits of reciting it a million times in front of a statue of Avalokiteshvara, etc., are explained. The essence of the Vajra Fist is: (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) That Bodhisattva obtained it from the Tathagata Vajra Sumeru ninety-one thousand kotis of kalpas ago. He made all the sentient beings, as numerous as the fine dust of all the realms of the world, accomplish all that was not accomplished, from the arising until the perfection of the Tathagata. The ways in which unaccomplished actions arise are: by binding the Vajra Samaya fist and reciting it a million times, one will be able to perform various actions such as walking in the sky. Or, by fasting for one day and one night, binding both hands in the Vajra fist, and reciting it a million times, from then on, by binding the fist, one will be able to do all actions as desired. The essence of the Bodhisattva Vajra Wheel is: (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) Just by uttering it, one will enter all mandalas. The essence of the Bodhisattva Sky Treasury is: (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) Just by uttering this essence, one becomes a place of all offerings. By binding the mudra of all Vajras and reciting it a million times, all forms of offerings, all purposes, and all perfections will arise from the sky. The essence of the Bodhisattva Maitreya is: (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) Just by uttering it, a mind of loving-kindness will arise in all sentient beings. By uttering this, all the Tathagatas will enter and abide in the samadhi of loving-kindness. By meditating on loving-kindness, one will accomplish all that is desired. All actions should also be accomplished with rituals of devotion in the mind and with loving-kindness. These all come from the great discernment that completely overcomes the three realms. From the Root Tantra of the Noble Manjushri, Manjushri the Youth.
