This is the essence of essence, cutting off the miserliness of beings, causing the source of generosity, the great treasure, to burst forth. Know that each of these essences has immeasurable benefits, as symbolized by the lotus crown below. Because they are not separately explained in the tantras, they cannot be described in detail here, but know that all of these are the essence of mantras, possessing immeasurable benefits. It can dry up the mud of desire, obtain the perfection of discipline, and if you recite this essence mantra one hundred and eight times from the contemplation of the Lord of the World, it will purify sins; reciting it five hundred times will dissolve all diseases, and so on, the more times you recite it, the greater the benefit. Its benefits are immeasurable, which can be known from the contemplation of the Unfailing Lasso, because there are so many, it cannot be written here. Oṃ Hala Hala Hrīḥ Padma Garbha Hūṃ Phaṭ Svāhā. This is the essence of the Southeastern Avalokiteśvara, Hala Hala, which pacifies the jealousy of beings, like a poisonous snake, and accomplishes the ocean of samadhi nectar. This is the essence of the Northwestern Avalokiteśvara, the Lord of the Vajra Dharma Realm, which eliminates the suffering and attachment of beings, and obtains the vajra of great power. 名为顶髻之精华，此能消除邪见的障蔽，并能获得圆满清净之愿波罗蜜多之法轮。嗡 嘛呢 贝美 吽。（藏文：ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ།，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡 嘛呢 贝美 吽。）此乃下方之观世音自在，至尊青颈之明咒，能消除所知障，并能获得智慧波罗蜜多。此心髓，名为观世音之心髓六字真言，仅念诵即不为业惑所染，且与七地菩萨同等福分，见闻忆触解脱之事业，如《功德藏》等所广述，其赞叹广大，如是。此之根本秘密咒语广大者，即是千手千眼之陀罗尼。嗡 贝摩 乌尼卡 贝玛列 吽 帕。（藏文：ཨོཾ་པདྨོ་ཥྞཱི་ཥ་བི་མ་ལེ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ།，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ padmoṣṇīṣa bimali hūṃ phaṭ，汉语字面意思：嗡 莲花 顶髻 无垢 吽 帕。）此乃不空绢索中，从一字至十字之秘密咒语，能令获得十地之明咒，宣说了十种无量功德，此乃最后之十字咒语。 此乃不空绢索莲花顶髻之精华，仅念诵即能成就。念诵百万遍，则成不退转，获得十地，无疑将成为不空绢索莲花顶髻之转轮王。世间天人皆称之为佛。仅以一次慈悲心和慈爱心，以清净意乐缘念众生，则无堕恶趣之可能，且具广大善根。念诵两次，一切疾病皆得平息。念诵三次，毒、痘疹、脚癣、麻风、疥疮等皆得平息。念诵四次，能消除地毒和一切诅咒。仅念诵五次，一切争斗和辩论皆得平息。仅念诵六次，一切恐惧、邪魔和瘟疫皆得平息。念诵七次，能平息非时死亡，以及一切众生的疾病和瘟疫。因此，为了所有众生的利益，每天应默念七遍。对于堕入地狱的众生死后，以及违背誓言的上师等不敬者死后，将念诵七遍的沙子撒在墓地、火葬场或坟墓上，则被称为供养。触及骨头，立即从恶趣中解脱。

(Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Mani Padme Hum.) This is the vidya mantra of the noble Avalokiteśvara of the lower direction, the blue-necked one, which eliminates the obscurations of knowledge and enables the attainment of the Paramita of wisdom. This essence, called the six-syllable essence of Avalokiteśvara, merely reciting it does not stain one with karma and afflictions, and makes one equal in fortune to a seventh-level Bodhisattva. The activities of liberation through seeing, hearing, remembering, and touching are praised extensively, as is clearly explained in the Zamatog and others. The extensive root secret mantra of this is the Dharani of the Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes. Om Padmo Ushnisha Bimali Hum Phat. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་པདྨོ་ཥྞཱི་ཥ་བི་མ་ལེ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ padmoṣṇīṣa bimali hūṃ phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Lotus Crown Immaculate Hum Phat.) This is from the Amoghapasha, the secret mantra from one to ten syllables, which enables the attainment of the ten bhumis. The last of the ten immeasurable benefits of the vidya mantra is this ten-syllable mantra. This is the essence of the Amoghapasha Padma Ushnisha, which is accomplished merely by reciting it. Reciting it a hundred thousand times, one becomes irreversible and attains the tenth bhumi, and there is no doubt that one will become the Chakravartin of the Amoghapasha Padma Ushnisha. The gods and humans of the world will call one a Buddha. Merely directing one's mind towards sentient beings with compassion, love, and pure intention, there is no possibility of being born in the lower realms, and one possesses great roots of virtue. Reciting it twice, all diseases are completely pacified. Reciting it three times, poison, smallpox, foot sores, leprosy, scabies, etc., are pacified. Reciting it four times, it eliminates earth poisons and all curses. Merely reciting it five times, all fighting, disputes, and conflicts are pacified. Merely reciting it six times, all fears, evil spirits, and plagues are pacified. Reciting it seven times, it pacifies untimely death, and the diseases and epidemics of all sentient beings. Therefore, for the benefit of all sentient beings, one should silently remember it seven times each day. For sentient beings who have died and fallen into hell, and for those who have died after being disrespectful to teachers who have broken their vows, scattering sand that has been recited seven times on the cemetery, cremation ground, or grave is called an offering. Touching the bones, one is immediately liberated from the lower realms.
