To abide in loving-kindness like parents is the third. Those who are obscured by the three poisons, those who break their vows and engage in sinful deeds, those who break their precepts and go to the lower realms and hells, upon hearing the name, until unsurpassed enlightenment, all karmic obscurations are purified, the near afflictions are separated, and they uphold pure morality. To abide in the discipline of body, speech, and mind, and not to be separated from the mind of enlightenment is the fourth. Thus, the Thus-Gone One contemplated and completely fulfilled the wishes. In the world of the east, free from sorrow, I prostrate to the Thus-Gone One, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, the supreme glory free from sorrow. This Buddha is now living and dwelling, and his realm is like Sukhavati. The great aspirations of that Buddha are four: Any sentient beings who are afflicted by sorrow, suffering, displeasure, and turmoil, experiencing various kinds of suffering, upon hearing the name and remembering it, those sorrows and so on are completely pacified, and no one experiences the suffering of separation, and they become long-lived, this is the first. Those who, having committed various sins, are born in the Avici Hell, upon being touched by the light of that Buddha's body, all sins are purified. They are liberated from that suffering and, until unsurpassed enlightenment, experience the bliss of gods and humans, this is the second. Those who, having committed unwholesome deeds and stolen the possessions of others, are born poor, without food, clothing, etc., tormented by heat, cold, hunger, and thirst, and who are ugly in appearance, upon hearing the name and reciting it, until unsurpassed enlightenment, enjoy all food, clothing, bedding, etc., and their bodies are adorned with the color of the gods, this is the third. Those who are tormented by yakshas, flesh-eaters, rakshasas, spirits, etc., and whose vitality is stolen, experiencing various kinds of suffering from illness, upon hearing the name, until unsurpassed enlightenment, the stealing of vitality by yakshas, etc., is pacified, they abide in loving-kindness, and are liberated from various illnesses, this is the fourth. Those who hear and worship the name of that Buddha are liberated from all suffering, and until the ultimate end of enlightenment, they do not fall into the lower realms, they remember their past lives, they are born in the realm of that Buddha, and they are protected by all the gods.

Ro. In the eastern world, in the realm called Dharma Banner, I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha, Dharma Proclaiming Ocean Sound. This Buddha is now living and dwelling there, and his field is completely pure. That Buddha's great former aspirations are four: If any sentient beings are born into families with wrong views, do not have faith in the Three Jewels, and do not keep the thought of enlightenment in mind, then upon hearing his name, their karmic obscurations will be exhausted, and until the ultimate end of enlightenment, they will become possessors of correct views, obtain unwavering faith in the Three Jewels, and will not turn back from keeping the thought of enlightenment in mind; this is the first. Those who are born in remote border regions where the sound of the Three Jewels is not heard, and who, due to evil friends, perform sinful deeds, and who, after death, fall into the three lower realms and completely lose all virtuous qualities—for those, the sound of that Buddha's name will be heard in their ears, and the sound of the ocean of Dharma will arise. Having heard that sound, their previous karma will be exhausted, and until the ultimate end of enlightenment, they will never be separated from keeping the thought of enlightenment in mind; this is the second. Those who suffer and commit sins due to being without clothes, ornaments, garlands, and so forth—through the power of the Buddha, all enjoyments such as clothes will arise as soon as they are thought of, and there will be no lack of anything, and until the ultimate end of enlightenment, no one will lack anything whatsoever; this is the third. Those who, due to past karma, fight, quarrel, harm, and kill each other, striking each other with weapons, sticks, and so forth—then, whoever hears his name and keeps it in mind, arrows, weapons, sticks, and so forth will all be turned back and turned away, all enemies will abide in love, and no one's life force will be cut off, and until the ultimate end of enlightenment, each will be content with their own possessions, enjoyments, and power; this is the fourth. Thus, holding the name of that Tathagata purifies all sins, remembers past lives, does not turn back from enlightenment, meets the Buddha in all lifetimes, is always long-lived and free from illness, and after death is born in that Buddha's field,
