Homage to the Bhagavan, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened One, Precious Jewel Supreme! Whoever enters the Mahayana, by holding this name, generates great merit. Whoever enters the Mahayana, for hundreds of thousands of billions of years, repeatedly offers piles of gold like Mount Meru, the king of mountains, to the Buddhas, the benefit of holding the Buddha's name becomes supremely excellent. These Buddhas are now living and dwelling, and by holding the names of these Buddhas, immeasurable benefits are obtained. Any Bodhisattva who desires the immeasurable wisdom of the Buddhas, who desires to liberate many sentient beings from existence, who desires the power to shake billions of fields with the toe of his foot, and who desires to make immeasurable offerings to the Buddhas, should hold these names and also teach them to others. Filling fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges with precious gold and offering it to the Buddhas is not even one hundredth of the benefit of hearing these names. Those who hold these names will have well-obtained a human body, they will possess the limbs of melodious sound in the human world, they will have well-obtained renunciation, and they will use food well. Like a sign. When the world in the southeast manifests the moon, I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the Glory of No Sorrow. Hearing this name, one will not turn back from unsurpassed Bodhi. When the world in the southwest possesses a crest, I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the Jewel Stupa. Hearing this name, one will not turn back from unsurpassed Bodhi and will appear supremely noble in the world like a jewel. When the world in the northwest possesses sound, I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the Glory of Flowers. Hearing this name, one will not turn back from unsurpassed Bodhi and will not be stained by non-virtuous dharmas like a flower. When the world realm in the northeast is endowed with bliss, I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, who plays with small, medium, and great superknowledges. Hearing this name, one will not turn back from unsurpassed Bodhi and will be skilled in all the conduct and manners of a Bodhisattva, and will also fully grasp the wisdom of the Paramitas. When the world realm below is endowed with infinity, I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the Glory of Light. Hearing that name, one will not turn back from unsurpassed Bodhi and will also subsequently attain the exhaustion of all clinging afflictions. When the world realm above possesses the moon, I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, the Glory of Wealth. Hearing that name, one will not turn back from unsurpassed Bodhi and will also obtain the unsurpassed jewel of Dharma. Thus, these Buddhas with inconceivable wisdom and qualities are now living, dwelling, and teaching the Dharma. In the past, in the kalpa called Jewel Source, these ten together generated roots of virtue in the presence of the Bhagavan Ocean Glory, made immeasurable offerings, and together harmoniously generated the mind of perfect Bodhi, becoming the sole sun for all beings.
