After the deceased has passed away, the ransom offering is sent to another place. Through the power of this great generosity, may (མདོ་ཐོག) sentient beings in samsara become naturally enlightened. May these beings whom the Buddhas of the past were unable to liberate, be liberated through generosity. Thus pray, and recite verses such as "Wherever there are beings," and auspicious verses such as "May eighty thousand kinds of obstacles be pacified." This offering ritual is based on the intention of the Nyang Treasure offering text. The attendant offerings and ransom offerings, etc., are newly composed with self-created words, and the offering verses are written according to the offering text. In general, although there are vast and faultless treasure Guru Rinpoche's Vajra words, there is not much need for new compositions. However, for the benefit of those who wish to appropriately increase or decrease, perform single offerings to the four guests, or combine with Sang, or perform each of them individually as desired, or wish to add just a small offering ritual to the protector's Sang, etc., this was written by Mipham on the third day of the new year of the Earth Monkey, increasing goodness. May there be auspiciousness! ༈ །། In the context of Sang and other rituals, the prayer for the local deities of a specific area is as follows: "Kye! The lord of the land, the local deity of this area where we dwell, ཆྒཻ་མོ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning). Please speak the name you wish to say. And all the great and small local deities of this place, and also this dwelling place, those who dwell on the hard rocks, those who dwell on the stable flagstones and stones, those who dwell on the high snow mountains, rock mountains, grass mountains, etc., those who dwell in the low valleys and ravines, those who dwell on the growing trees and grasses, those who dwell in the coiled lakes and ponds, those who dwell in the flowing springs and rivers, those who dwell in the stable land and houses, those who dwell in the statues of deities and hidden places, treasure places, those who dwell in places of blessing and relatives, those who dwell in forests and gardens, pools, etc., in various places, those who dwell on the front mountain and the right side, those who dwell on the back mountain and the left side, those who dwell in the directions of front and back, sunny and shady, those who dwell in the high sky, those who dwell in the low ground, those who dwell in the middle space, those who dwell in the burning fire and the moving wind, those who dwell in the livestock pens and roads, those who dwell in the cemeteries and wildernesses, the top
