The Prayer to the Goddess. Bhyo! In the presence of the secret lord Padmasambhava, having arisen as the embodiment of a Damnö demoness, the great powerful protectress of the Buddha's teachings, Machik Palden Lhamo, come to this place. To you, I offer the great red torma made of the flesh and blood of those who break their vows, enemies, and obstructors, as well as nectar, medicine, alcohol, and inner and secret offerings. Please accept them and accomplish the entrusted tasks. This is the speech of Amithi, the one with turquoise hair, the great powerful one who gathers lineages, who has attained accomplishment in the eight places, who has attained accomplishment in the red rock place, and the great yogi Wangchuk, who has manifestly summoned Remati. Supplement: As the former vidyadharas listened and practiced, so now I practice you with devotion. Remember your vows, and like sisters, friends, and servants, accomplish the desires of the yogi. This verse is the speech of Vidyadhara Gyawopa. Heruka, glorious hero, yogini, Palden Remati, who controls the activities of the great mandala of phenomenal existence, grant me all supreme and common siddhis. Supplement: This verse was composed by Mipham Jampal Dorje after seeing auspicious signs. This four-line vajra verse is a treasure of blessings and all siddhis. May it be auspicious! On the seventh day, I received the prophecy. On the eighth day, at dusk, in the mandala of phenomenal existence surrounded by a sea of Heruka dakinis, I saw a subtle dream sign of a servant girl bowing with a dance, and on the ninth day, I wrote this down. ༈. The prayer to the goddess, extracted from the tantras, rains down blessings, and the activities move swiftly like lightning. With medicine, alcohol, torma, and a large amount of fat for the burnt offering, gathering human bone trumpets, skull drums, and other fulfilling substances, bless them and say this: Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari, hūṃ, seed syllable) Bhyo! Do not be distracted, do not be distracted, compassionate one! Do not be distracted, do not be distracted, assembly of protectors! In the realm of Samantabhadri, sing the song of invoking the mother, and proclaim the sound throughout the three thousand worlds. Practice is to practice in the wisdom bindu, reliance is to rely on the realm of Heruka. Severing the demons of all oath-breakers. The life-holder who abides by the oath. The wanderer of all empty realms. The mistress of disease and the mistress of epidemics. Riding a mule, horse, three-legged beast as a mount. Having fine lines of nine webs. Having sparse ornaments of red coral. Daily hiding nine husbands in the boudoir. At night, wandering throughout the charnel ground. All yogis frequent the assembly hall. The yogi's samaya, pure or impure. Sisters, Love and compassion, great or small. The guru's samadhi warmth is wandering. Judging good and bad, the follower of samaya. Your color is dark blue. The locks of hair swirl from right to left. From the mouth flows human blood, horse blood. From the eyes flows blood, zulu zulu. When the iron mule, horse, three-legged beast moves, Even eighty-four thousand leagues, It traverses in one night. Great yogini Alala. Great powerful mother Alala. Hūṃ bhyoḥ (Tibetan, हूं भ्योः, hūṃ bhyoḥ, Hum Bhyoh!). Glorious goddess, you who love all beings. To all sentient beings, like a loving mother. By the power of the infallible oath, come here. At the end of the tormented time of the five hundred, The oath to accomplish according to the teachings and scriptures, Even if it is slightly scarce, do not be distracted by compassion. Just as a mother loves her son with longing, To those who have vows, have earnest longing. Just as a sister loves her sibling with longing, To those who have connections, have fervent affection. Just as a lover respects a friend, To the yogis, have intimate affection. Just as a servant loves his master with heartfelt affection, To the holy ones, be sure to draw near.
