It is said in the sutras that the complete purification of the place of establishment and the equal thought for maturing sentient beings are the ten. Through these, it is realized that the Buddhas are not different in the lineage of the Dharmakaya. On the sixth ground, seeing the meaning of profound dependent origination, one realizes that there is no Dharma that was completely afflicted in the past and will become completely pure in the future; on the seventh ground, realizing the absence of characteristics, one realizes the meaning of the single taste in which all Dharmas are without difference; on the eighth ground, having obtained the forbearance of non-arising, one realizes the meaning that all Dharmas abide in equality, and there is no decrease or increase from it; the wisdom of the three pure grounds will realize that the Dharmadhatu is the place of the four powers. The four powers are the power over the Dharmadhatu of non-discrimination, the power over the completely pure field, the power over wisdom, and the power over action. Moreover, on the eighth ground, by entering into the Dharmadhatu in a single taste, since there is no elaboration or characteristics, one obtains power over non-discrimination; since the appearance of the Buddha field and the mandala of the retinue appear infinitely and are greatly shown, one obtains the two powers over the pure field. On the ninth ground, meditating on the Dharmadhatu in equipoise, in the subsequent attainment, one obtains power over the wisdom of teaching the Dharma with the four individual correct knowledges. On the tenth ground, having meditated on the Dharmadhatu in equipoise, at the time of subsequent attainment, actions arise as desired, and one obtains power over actions. Therefore, the equipoise wisdom of these grounds is the cause or place of those powers. Moreover, since it is due to the power of focusing on the Dharmadhatu, it should be known that the Dharmadhatu is the place where those qualities arise. Those Bodhisattvas thus directly see and are able to ascertain, while other ordinary people should infer and know in this way. Regarding this, although it is possible to practice with mere faith in the meaning of the sphere being all-pervasive and without decrease, etc., the wisdom of the grounds, in the subsequent attainment of directly seeing such a pure Dharmadhatu, effortlessly obtains the certainty of cutting off superimpositions through the power of experience, thereby making the nature of the sphere even more pure.

Therefore, regarding seeing the self-nature of the Dharmadhatu, it should be understood as being encompassed by the situation of the special view that increases from ground to ground. Thus, regarding how to see the self-nature of the Dharmadhatu, there is the obscuration of ignorance, which is extreme ignorance or is named the obscuration of knowledge. Its own essence is divided by the two obscurations, not the ten afflictive obscurations, but the antidotes to these obstacles that are contrary to the ten wisdoms are those grounds. Because by attaining those grounds, these are permanently abandoned. Third, summarizing the meaning, it is shown by "of afflictions" etc. Although the immeasurable obscurations have been explained by the above-mentioned example, if the meaning is briefly summarized, it is the afflictive obscuration that hinders liberation and is the cause of accomplishing samsara, and the obscuration of knowledge that hinders the attainment of omniscience, which directly sees all knowable objects, and causes one to fall into the realm of elaboration. All obscurations are included in these two obscurations. The reason is that, in reality, what is to be sought is only liberation and omniscience, and there is no other result. From the perspective of primarily obscuring these two, they are established as the obscuration of afflictions and the obscuration of knowledge. And the cause of the arising of these two is the clinging to the self of persons and the self of phenomena. The antidote to abandoning these two self-clinging is the realization of the two selflessnesses. Because there is no other deeper ultimate truth to be realized beyond what is realized by these two, the amount of the two obscurations in terms of direct and indirect teaching is also determined. Therefore, when these two obscurations are exhausted, because there is no other obscuration, it is hoped to be liberated from all obscurations. Otherwise, if it is not like this, one will not be able to truly understand the ultimate liberation of abandoning all obscurations, and the antidotes to abandoning obscurations, etc., and therefore the system of the path cannot be thoroughly explained. This concludes the commentary on the chapter on obscurations from the Madhyantavibhāga. Third, explaining the thusness that is to be realized. It is divided into: brief explanation and detailed explanation. First, the root is indicated by characteristics, etc. What should be known is that all knowable objects are included in the three: the completely imputed, the other-powered, and the thoroughly established, and
