Because it is extremely important to understand the key points of not contradicting negation, including the appearance of equanimity in view and practice, it is explained with a little digression. Fifth, entering the benefits of non-discriminating wisdom is fourfold, namely, through the non-discriminating wisdom itself, obtaining the complete place free from the two obscurations b, ultimately obtaining the Dharmakaya, transcending the changing and unstable contaminated bliss and habitual tendencies, obtaining the unsurpassed great bliss, uncontaminated and eternally unchanging, obtaining mastery over the complete accomplishment of pure and non-inverted views on all objects of knowledge encompassed by suchness and allness, and effortlessly demonstrating various profound and vast Dharma doors that are in accordance with the inclinations of each of the infinite sentient beings to be tamed, obtaining these four freedoms. Therefore, since the cause of generating the ultimate abandonment and realization is non-discriminating wisdom itself, the four benefits of that wisdom are explained. Sixth, entering into the complete understanding of the manner of that wisdom, there are two types: a summary and a detailed explanation. First, entering into complete understanding should be understood as four types: completely understanding the manner of acting as an antidote to dissimilar factors, completely understanding one's own nature by means of being free from the five mistaken discriminations, completely understanding the five dharmas that are superior to inferior paths, and completely understanding the five functions of that wisdom. Second, the detailed explanation a is the same as the above order, divided into four types. The first type, what is the understanding of the antidote? Non-discriminating wisdom is because it has entered into the reality of the inseparability of the two truths, free from addition and subtraction, therefore it can eliminate all extreme evil views, namely, clinging to forms and so on as dharmas, 1 clinging to the person as self, 2 clinging to things as arising and ceasing from the complete transformation from the previous state, 3 clinging to characteristics and nature as different, 4 and denying that the merely appearing dharmas do not exist in name, these five. These five are the intelligence that is ignorant of things that do not exist or are not established in reality.

Because of clinging to the forms of self and non-self, birth and death, difference and slander, all of them are involved in untruth, therefore it is called clinging to non-existence. Like this, showing the five antidotes to clinging to non-existence or inverted clinging is non-discriminating wisdom itself. Because one possesses non-discriminating wisdom, the inverted views represented by the four additions and one slander, and all evil views, will not arise. Second, fully understanding the characteristics of non-discriminating wisdom is shown through abandoning the five conflicting faults. Why is that? Because non-discriminating wisdom, although it does not see any form as an object of focus and does not cling to anything, it sees the suchness of all phenomena, just like a blind person sees form. Because it cannot be shown simultaneously in the way of seeing this shore, although its nature does not discriminate anything, it realizes without error that the meaning of dharmata does not exist in any extreme, and in accordance with dharmata, it does not cling to anything. But it is not non-discrimination through not knowing anything or blocking knowledge, etc. What is that? Merely not engaging in the mind with the proliferations of worldly terms, mixing name and meaning with discrimination, cannot be called non-discrimination. Just as there is no such discrimination in the continuum of a newborn baby or a calf, etc., but it cannot be called non-discrimination. Even if the continuum of a baby is allowed to have a mixture of sound and meaning, there is no clinging to mixture, and the meaning of the occasion is accomplished by using the example of a newborn baby not understanding discriminative speculation. Merely completely transcending the discriminative speculation of coarse and subtle forms does not become non-discriminating wisdom, just like the wisdom of the second dhyana and above. Merely the slight pacification of discrimination is not it either, just like the state of sleep, fainting, intoxication, and being in cessation samadhi. Even if it becomes the meaning of the nature of non-discrimination, it is not non-discriminating wisdom, because although objects such as form and sense faculties such as the eye become the nature of inanimate objects without discrimination, they are not non-discriminating wisdom.
