Like the goodness and badness of samsara and nirvana, the lord of this shore and the other shore, and the parts of others' greatness and smallness, and the differences of past and future times, etc., there is none of that. It is the single, unchanging bindu of the dharmadhatu. Although this is the case in reality, if we follow the sudden appearance of delusion, the body, mind, and environment of the three realms of samsara appear in this way. When the self-nature of dharmata is not seen, dharmata is not non-existent, but exists without the slightest movement from its own self-nature. Therefore, the dharmata of the mind is such that, although it is covered by sudden impurities and cannot be seen, it exists as an essence or heart in the center, which is called lineage or essence. For example, it is said that it should be understood by symbolizing it with nine examples such as underground treasures. Depending on the sudden impurities, it is divided into three states: impure, both pure and impure, and extremely pure, but there is no difference in the essence of the element itself. As it says in the Uttaratantra Shastra: 'Because the Buddha's wisdom enters the assembly of sentient beings, its nature is immaculate and non-dual. Because that fruit is closely applied to the Buddha's lineage, it is said that all beings possess the essence of the Buddha.' And: 'This is also the self-nature dharmakaya, likewise suchness is also the lineage.' And: 'Impure, impure-pure, and extremely pure, in that order, sentient beings, bodhisattvas, and thus-gone ones are named.' As it is said. If one does not understand it in this way and considers the Sugata-garbha to be like relying on a juniper on a mound, and holds in mind the appearance of the two minds of delusion and non-delusion accompanying each other like light and darkness in the compartments of the five aggregates, and then engages in negation and affirmation, that is merely a cry of anguish that one has not turned towards the meaning of the Mahayana, and should be abandoned. Therefore, it is meaningless to proclaim the words of essence in the midst of evil thoughts for those who have not trained their minds in the Mahayana. Such profound words should not be taught to children and non-Buddhists. Because they are not suitable vessels for hearing this profound Dharma, one should teach the Dharma starting from selflessness, impermanence, etc., and it must be established through reasoning. It is meaningless to teach the essence, because they cannot establish it through direct perception alone, so they will slander it.

It is because it becomes a place. Those who have cultivated their minds from the lower Buddhist tenets and have developed a special understanding of the meaning of great emptiness that is not a different name, if the words of the Tathagatagarbha are taught in sequence, then they will initially develop faith and understanding. Therefore, although the path is completely pure, it cannot be established by reason, but must be realized through experience. And, to expose the foolishness of the idea that a path that has not become a path of direct perception is not a correct path, one must be proficient in the key points of how to practice the path. Now, in order to dispel some aspects of the wrong perception of the nature of the realm, it is necessary to dispel the view that what is not empty is truly established, to dispel the view that emptiness is annihilation, and to dispel the view that impermanence is conditioned phenomena. The first is as it is said: In the Holy Lankavatara Sutra, Bodhisattva Mahamati asked the Blessed One: The Buddha said in the sutras that the Tathagatagarbha is in the womb of defilement, is permanent and steadfast, how is this different from the self spoken of by the heretics? The heretics also speak of the self as having no qualities, etc. In response, the Blessed One said: This is not the same, the Buddhas have shown the meaning of the three doors of liberation and nirvana and the unborn words as the Tathagatagarbha. In order to make children abandon the place of fear because of selflessness, the door of the Tathagatagarbha is shown, the state of non-attention, the realm of no appearance is shown, Mahamati, the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who appear in the future and the present should not be attached to the self. It is said. In addition, it is also said that those who have the thought of things have no liberation, and, if one's own nature is not empty, even if there are other empty dharmas, it cannot become emptiness, among the seven emptinesses, the lowest is to empty another emptiness with one emptiness, it should be abandoned, etc., boundless. In addition, Mahamati, the Tathagata is not permanent, nor is he impermanent. Why is that? Because both have faults. It is said. Proliferation is held by the devil, transcending existence and non-existence.
