With great wisdom, all phenomena are pervaded and effortlessly seen, like the moon and stars appearing in the ocean, and observed in a state of near-peace of thought. This is the Dharma nature residing in the basis of self-arisen luminous wisdom, and it is by the power of all obscurations being exhausted and manifestly appearing as they are. If one relies on the ultimate discriminating Dharma nature's correct reasoning, one will gain irreversible faith. Otherwise, measuring with a limited mind will lead to many contradictions and conceptual entanglements, such as: believing that there is no wisdom in the Buddha's realm, or that even if there is, it is the same as the changing ordinary mind; believing that the realm of sentient beings is not seen, or that there are impure appearances; and being unable to prove that the essence of "as it is" and "as many as there are" is of one taste. The meaning of the third line, "Because there is lineage," is that all sentient beings have the lineage to become Buddhas, because adventitious defilements are proven to be removable, and the Dharma body of innate qualities is proven to be equally present in all. Thus, if there is the lineage to become Buddhas, then those embodied beings are definitely those who possess the Buddha-nature, because they have the state of becoming Buddhas, and the essence of the Buddha's Dharma body is also established as unconditioned, so there is no difference between good and bad in terms of essence between before and after. This third reasoning is the reasoning of knowing that the effect arises from the cause. Here, it is not just inferring that the effect arises from the mere existence of the cause, but because the Dharma nature, the thusness lineage, is immutable, and it has no good or bad in terms of the time of the effect and its essence, and all adventitious defilements can be separated no matter how long they last, so the key is that the lineage will never be wasted in becoming a Buddha. Thus, the lineage of the cause is inseparable from the essence of the Dharma body at the time of the effect, and if there is the Dharma body at the time of the effect, then it must also exist without increase or decrease at the time of sentient beings, and although cause and effect and before and after are established, in meaning, it is the one taste of the unchanging essence of the Dharma realm. With these three reasons, all sentient beings are established as possessing the Tathagatagarbha, which comes from the path of correct reasoning that enters through the power of things. Thus, the Tathagatagarbha mind
