I observe phenomena and must regard them as cause and effect, therefore it is called the reasoning of inferring the cause from the effect. The second line, 'Because suchness is without difference.' The meaning is that all dharmas of samsara and nirvana, their nature of emptiness is inseparable and undifferentiated from the primordial great luminosity. Therefore, Buddhas and sentient beings are also without difference in the ultimate truth, that is, the equality of samsara and peace. Therefore, sentient beings who appear to be emanations due to delusion and sudden events have not deviated even slightly from the Dharma nature of the ultimate truth of reality. It is established by the reasoning of Dharma nature, therefore it is certain to have the essence of the Buddha. It is also said in the sutras that all dharmas are luminous from the beginning, and have the nature of nirvana and manifest enlightenment. If, as you said to others before, merely being inseparable in suchness can establish having lineage, then stones and so on should also have lineage. The so-called lineage refers to the faultless cause of becoming a Buddha with increasing wisdom that does not confuse the nature of what is to be known by eliminating the two obscurations arising from the power of the deluded mind. Since that is not mind, inanimate objects such as stones have no practice, so even if they are inseparable in suchness in name, it is not necessary to establish that they have lineage. Because stones and so on appear due to the action of the mind, and the mind does not arise from the action of external objects such as stones. It should be understood by taking the appearance of a dream and the consciousness at that time as an example. This mind, the actor of the three realms, has the nature of the uncontaminated merit of the Dharma nature Tathagatagarbha ultimate truth. Just as water has moisture, knowing that the appearances of samsara and nirvana are merely the play of consciousness and wisdom, therefore there is no need to distinguish them. In the true meaning, all appearances also do not exceed the state of Dharma nature's original Buddhahood, which is fully acknowledged. As it is said in the Compendium Sutra: 'The purity of form should be known as the purity of the fruit, the purity of the form of the fruit becomes the purity of all-knowingness, the purity of all-knowingness, the purity of the fruit and the purity of form, like the realm of space, are inseparable and indivisible.' As it is said. The one with an object, liberated from obscurations,

What is purity? It is the purity or nature of objects, such as forms. Because it is merely the way of seeing that gradually separates from the obscurations of self-appearance, while the essence of things has always been in a state of being free from obscurations. Therefore, when the defilements of the field of consciousness of the subject are exhausted and Buddhahood is attained, the reality of the object does not remain as a residue of purity, just as when an eye disease is cured, the haze naturally disappears. If you think that when one person becomes a Buddha, all impure appearances will cease, that is not the case. Because the obscurations of each individual's self-appearance obscure themselves, and there are conflicting appearances of abiding. So, in the Buddha-ground, where all appearances are always the same, does it have all these impure appearances or not? If it has them, then it has not fully awakened to all the dharmas; if it does not have them, then it is impossible to know the path of universal travel and so on. If you think so, then, with the wisdom of all-knowing, all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana are known effortlessly and spontaneously in a state of equality with oneself. And, although everything appears as great purity in itself, at the same time, it also sees the appearances of the six kinds of beings according to their respective appearances. This is because, by the power of the complete exhaustion of the obscurations of the dualistic appearance of object and subject, all things are integrated into the space of dharmata in an unmixed and complete way, and with the wisdom of equal taste, free from birth and death, they are seen simultaneously. What need is there to see the truth? Even those who dwell on the ground find it difficult to imagine. The way of this is as it is said in the Bodhisattva Pitaka: All dharmas are equal, Because of equality, It is realized by self-born, Therefore, truly manifest perfect enlightenment, Thus gone ones, See equally. And, as it is said: The mind is naturally luminous, Knowing it as such, Therefore, with the wisdom of one moment of the mind, One attains perfect and complete enlightenment. Thus, as the teacher Chandrakirti said: Just as there is no difference in space due to the difference of containers, So there is no difference in reality in that nature, If you realize that all dharmas are of the same taste, Wise one, you will understand all that is to be known in an instant. Thus, it is non-dual with the sphere.
