Through the reasoning that proves all beings possess (Tathāgatagarbha), ultimate liberation, and the ultimate reality of the Tathāgata and all dharmas are not different. If one understands that this arises from the power of the Tathāgatagarbha itself, then the ultimate one vehicle will be accomplished. Otherwise, if it is said that the Tathāgatagarbha does not exist in the realm of sentient beings, nor does it exist at the time of the Buddha, and that there are no qualities at the time of the cause, but it is said that new qualities are possessed at the time of the result, etc., then for those who turn their backs on the meaning of the Great Vehicle, it becomes extremely difficult to establish the reasoning of the ultimate one vehicle. Therefore, those who have faith in the position of the supreme vehicle should diligently cultivate wisdom in this place. Thus, when it is established that there is a realm of inherent qualities at the time of sentient beings, this is an inconceivable and profound place, so the Buddha also said to the retinue, "Believe in my words, and you will not be deceived," and taught in a way that is difficult to understand by one's own power, so it is shown as the ultimate of profundity. To this, the small-minded logicians make successive attacks, saying that the Buddha and sentient beings have a common consciousness, and so on, all such criticisms based on terminology are nonsensical talk. As it is said in the *Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra*: "The aggregate realm and the ultimate characteristic are of a nature that is separate from one and the other. Those who understand one or the other are not properly engaged." Thus, the dharma-nature of the mind, the essence realm, and the mind that possesses dharma, both do not need to be accepted as one or different. Although it does not deviate from the meaning of the reality of dharma-nature, there is no contradiction in the existence of the appearance of delusion. Moreover, if it were not so, there would be faults such as no liberation or no one being able to be deluded. Because there is a discrepancy between the place and the appearance, there is the existence of deluded sentient beings, and it is also established that by entering the path and abandoning delusion, Buddhahood is achieved. Although it can be established that all dharmas are empty by analyzing with ultimate intelligence, this does not prevent the qualities of the essence, because it promises that although there are unsurpassed qualities, the essence is empty. Therefore, that which is taught by the intermediate turning of the wheel

In short, the teaching that all pure dharmas are empty is established as such, because the tathagatagarbha is also of the nature of emptiness. However, this teaching of the essence, distinguished by the inseparability of the appearance of the body and wisdom of the nature of emptiness, is the intention of the definitive sutras of the final turning of the wheel. Therefore, in terms of just this aspect, it is superior to the intermediate turning of the wheel. The great praise for the meaning of the final turning of the wheel in the Sutra Explaining the Thought is not limited to the final turning of the wheel, but is spoken in this way from the aspect of the definitive meaning of the teaching of the essence. Other sutras, such as the example of purifying the realm of wisdom with jewels, can clearly confirm this. Therefore, the emptiness taught in the intermediate turning of the wheel, and the pure appearance of the body and wisdom taught in the final turning, must be understood as the union of appearance and emptiness. The omniscient Longchen Rabjam considers that the definitive meanings of the intermediate and final turnings of the wheel should not be distinguished, but both should be regarded as definitive. If one of the two is taken as definitive, the other must be taken as provisional, and not only is there no contradiction between the two, but by combining the two, the tathagatagarbha becomes the basis of cause and effect, and the key points of the Vajrayana instructions arise, so it must be understood that the teachings of the Buddhas all converge on one key point. On this ultimate meaning, the noble ones such as Nagarjuna and Asanga have the same view, such as the Dharmadhatu-stotra and the Commentary on the Mind, and the commentaries on the Uttaratantra-shastra clearly explain this. Thus, the teacher Nagarjuna said: Emptiness is the essence of the Buddha's teaching. All that the Victorious Ones have spoken is to eliminate afflictions, not to destroy that realm. Thus, by examining with the wisdom of ultimate truth, the ultimate result is the meaning of indivisible vajra truth. Since this is a realm that cannot be divided by conceptual knowledge, there is no basis for disputes based on ultimate truth. Now, I will explain how that realm exists in the minds of sentient beings. If we consider the nature of reality itself, all dharmas are contained within the realm of dharmata, and the nature of dharmata itself is without birth or cessation, abiding in equality.
