May the lands be filled with glory, and may the essence of the Victor's teachings flourish in the ten directions! This was also specially urged by the Dharma brother named Guna, who holds the treasury of the three trainings, saying, "Please write down whatever comes to mind in the commentary on 'The Complete Buddha Body is for the Benefit of Beings,' etc." Thereupon, the pandita Lodrö Drimé wrote it down immediately, may virtue and goodness increase! This original manuscript was lost among the handwritten texts of Je Lama (Tsongkhapa), and after two cycles of twelve years, the manuscript was found again. At the same time, the venerable Lama Lungtok decided to have it printed, and the previous instigator also gathered there, and the wise and virtuous Lodrö also urged, "If there is still a need for additions, etc., be sure to do so." Therefore, some of the words of the previous manuscript were reduced, and a few key points were newly added. On the auspicious day of the dark fortnight of the Saga month in the Iron Rabbit year of Rabjung, Lodrö Drimé Jampel Gyepai Dorje completed the copying in two days at the Drubkhang Dudul Namgyal Ling, may it be auspicious! Om Svasti! The Victor, the Lion of Men, Shakyamuni, in accordance with the dispositions and inclinations of those to be tamed, taught the inconceivable means of taming, the supreme essence of the Great Vehicle, which is the middle and later turnings of the wheel. 1. Again and again he taught the Sutras and Treatises, condensing the key points, the followers of the Early Translation Vidyadharas, the Fearless Victorious Army, who illuminate with the three valid cognitions. 2. In order to repay the kindness of those who thoroughly clarify the Dharma and the Teacher, to contribute to the Dharma, and also to plant good habits in my mind, I have printed the original text. 3. May all the virtuous deeds of the three times, represented by this, cause the non-sectarian Dharma and its holders to flourish, and may the activities of teaching and practice shine like the sun, and may it be completely dedicated to thoroughly conquer all directions. 4. May all sentient beings, as vast as space, be liberated from the suffering of ignorance, become vessels for hearing, contemplating, and meditating, complete the journey of the five paths and ten bhumis, and attain the complete enlightenment of Buddhahood. 5. From now on, may I never have biased and evil thoughts in my mind in all my lifetimes, may I enjoy the Dharma of the Great Vehicle nectar, and may I work for the non-sectarian Dharma. 6. Buddhas, Buddha-sons, Vidyadharas, Bodhisattvas.
