Is the Protector. 3. Because he has become the Protector, he is permanent. These three show that the Dharmakaya is permanent. To explain in detail, there are three meanings: the reason why the Rupakaya is permanent. In countless three periods, he has given up attachment to anything, including body, life, and possessions, and because he has achieved limitless causes such as upholding the sacred Dharma, he always remains for the benefit of others. If it is said that even if the causes are complete, there is no need to stay, then that is not the case. It is necessary to stay. For the benefit of all sentient beings, he initially vowed to save all sentient beings from suffering, and because the sentient beings to be saved are endless, the vow must be completely fulfilled. If it is said that although there are those who can be tamed, there is no intention, then that is not the case. There is indeed this intention. The Buddha himself has been cleansed of the defilements of afflictions and has purified the obscurations of knowledge. His great compassion has reached perfection and is without cessation, so he constantly and continuously benefits all sentient beings. And. Even if these three are complete, if the lifespan of dwelling in the world is exhausted, then he cannot continue to dwell. If this is said, then that is not the case. He can indeed dwell. Because he has obtained the supernatural powers of transforming one into many and transforming many into one, and has obtained freedom over the Samadhi that is the root of these, he can show himself to those who should be tamed. In this way, that Buddha can constantly and continuously benefit sentient beings for as long as samsara exists. If it is said that although he can benefit, he does not stay because he is tired of samsara, then that is not the case. He is not tired. Because his pure wisdom has been liberated from clinging to samsara and nirvana as two natures, he does not regard samsara and nirvana as things to be taken or abandoned. Therefore, he does not regard samsara as a place to be abandoned. If it is said that he does not stay because he is harmed by the suffering of samsara, then that is not the case. He is not harmed. Because he constantly possesses the complete bliss of inconceivable and limitless Samadhi, he is not harmed by suffering no matter how long the time is. If it is said that he does not stay because he is tainted by the faults of samsara, then that is not the case. He is not tainted. For the sake of benefiting others, he actually dwells in the world and practices things that are in accordance with their capacities, but he is not defiled by worldly dharmas. That is, although he shows himself to be in the realm of samsara, he is not defiled by faults because of this. The reason why the Dharmakaya is permanent is that the abandonment and realization have reached complete perfection, and the ultimate Dharmadhatu has been realized, so there is no death from coarse afflictions or subtle, inconceivable abandonment of the body.

Having attained the state of peace, because there is no appearance of birth and death, and the army of the Lord of Death cannot find an opportunity to enter. The nature of the Dharmadhatu is permanent, because it is the nature of the unconditioned. The Dharmakaya of the Buddha, from the very beginning, is completely pacified from birth, death, etc., and is utterly peaceful. And because it is not deceptive, it is permanent, because it is not temporary, but constant. For beings without refuge, it should be a protector, lord, friend, etc. Therefore, until the end of the next life, it is impossible not to be a refuge. These are the summaries of the meaning. The first seven reasons show the permanence of the Rupakaya, and the latter three show the permanence of the Dharmakaya. The seventh, as it is, Briefly shows the inconceivable way, because it is not the object of speech, because it is encompassed by the ultimate truth, because it is not a place where conceptual thought arises, because it transcends metaphors, because it is supreme, because it is not encompassed by samsara and nirvana. Therefore, the three Kayas, the objects of the Buddhas, are inconceivable even to the Bodhisattvas of the tenth Bhumi, let alone others. The extensive explanation is divided into three parts, explaining the reasons in order. These three Kayas are inconceivable even to those who abide on the tenth Bhumi, because they cannot be expressed in words. They cannot be expressed in words because the object of speech is conventional, while this is ultimate truth. It is ultimate truth, although the conventional is pervaded by the object of conceptual thought, this cannot be measured by conceptual thought. It cannot be measured because it cannot be inferred by worldly metaphors and reasoning, etc. It cannot be inferred because it transcends the world and is supreme, so there are no metaphors, etc. It is supreme because it is not encompassed by samsara and nirvana. It is not encompassed by samsara and nirvana because it does not abide on the edge of samsara and nirvana, because it does not consider nirvana as a virtue and existence as a fault. Combine with the two Kayas to summarize the meaning. The first five reasons mentioned, because they are profound and subtle, the Dharmakaya is inconceivable. The sixth, not being encompassed by samsara and nirvana, although it appears as arising and ceasing, its essence or nature.
