The detailed classification is as follows: In the small stage of the path of accumulation, the aspiration that corresponds to the desire to strive for Bodhi is like the earth, because it is the basis of all white dharmas. In the middle stage of the path of accumulation, the mind is like gold, unchanging until Bodhi, and therefore does not decline. In the great stage of the path of accumulation, the superior intention is like the moon, and all virtuous dharmas completely increase. In the path of preparation, the practice of yoga that is in accordance with the two wisdoms is like fire, burning the firewood that obscures the three wisdoms (all-knowing wisdom, wisdom of the path, and wisdom of the base). In the first bhumi of the path of seeing, the generosity that corresponds to the aspiration is like a treasure, satisfying all sentient beings. In the second bhumi, discipline is like the source of jewels, the object upon which the jewels of virtue rely. In the third bhumi, patience is like the great ocean, and one is not disturbed even when all unpleasant things befall one. In the fourth bhumi, diligence is like a vajra, unwavering due to firm faith. In the fifth bhumi, meditation is like the king of mountains, unmoved by the distraction of objects. In the sixth bhumi, wisdom is like medicine, completely pacifying the diseases of afflictive and cognitive obscurations. In the seventh bhumi, skillful means are like a spiritual friend, the roots of virtue are inexhaustible, or one never abandons the benefit of sentient beings in all circumstances. In the eighth bhumi, aspiration is like a wish-fulfilling jewel, accomplishing the desired result. In the ninth bhumi, the perfection of power is like the sun, completely ripening the crops of virtue in the minds of those to be tamed. In the tenth bhumi, the Prajnaparamita and the corresponding aspiration are like a beautiful song of Dharma, showing the Dharma that makes those to be tamed yearn for it. There are five distinctions of pure paths: having clairvoyance is like a king, accomplishing the benefit of others with unobstructed power; the two accumulations of merit and wisdom are like a treasury, fully possessing what is needed for Bodhi; the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are like a great road, which all noble ones have traveled and will travel; compassion and insight are like a vehicle, not falling into either samsara or nirvana, and therefore traveling easily; and

Compassion and pride, and the mind of enlightenment with equal qualities, like artificially created water, like a well or a spring. By holding the Dharma that has been heard and not heard, it will not be exhausted, and, the union of the Buddha's ground, possessing the feast of the four seals of Dharma, like a musical instrument. For the trainees who desire liberation, proclaiming the Dharma with a pleasant sound, the actual basis of the Buddha's ground, the single path to be traversed, equality like the flow of a river. With higher realms and definite goodness, accomplishing the benefit of others, spontaneously accomplished, continuously, without difference. At the end of the Buddha's ground, possessing the Dharmakaya, like a cloud, residing in the abode of Tushita (དགའ་ལྡན། ), etc., universally showing. Therefore, through these, the divisions of the mind of enlightenment are twenty-two in number. In short, from the small stage of the accumulation path to the Buddha's ground, free from its obstacles, and through the way of being equally possessed with friends, etc., the mind of enlightenment like the earth, etc., becomes better and better, and then abides. This boundary is the tradition of the teacher Simhabhadra, and there are also those who believe that the ten grounds exist at the end of the continuous union. On that path and that path, know that they exist in almost all places except for the special practice of those. Secondly, it is divided into two: generally instructing the key points, and separately explaining what is difficult to understand. The first is divided into four: the key point of instructing the nature of one's own practice, the key point of instructing the four truths as the object, the key point of instructing the three jewels as the support, and the key point of instructing the cause of the perfection of practice. The first is: The recipient of the key point is the Sambhogakaya who has attained the Samadhi of the Dharma stream of the great accumulation path, or, the ordinary one starts from the small accumulation path. The recipient is the sentient being who seeks the meaning of the key point. The reason for listening, if one abides in any state, is the Samadhi of the Dharma stream that can continuously grasp the meaning of the words of the Buddha's inconceivable Dharma, or, one's own memory. The divisions are the key point that causes one to obtain what one has not obtained before, and the subsequent instruction that makes what has already been obtained special, and the teacher Vimuktisena reverses this. The key point to be listened to is the first of the ten key points that have been spoken. All the Dharmas to be learned, such as the mind of enlightenment, do not prevent the conventional appearance like an illusion.
