Also arises. The basis for entering is said in the Bodhipathapradīpa and the Lamdrön to require Pratimoksha vows, which is in terms of the difference in the basis. Because there are Bodhisattvas with a basis in the desire realm gods and higher realms. The causes for the arising of Bodhicitta are seeing the body of the Buddha, seeing and hearing the power of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas, hearing the Dharma of the Mahayana, seeing sentient beings suffering and being unable to bear it, and so on. Bodhicitta can be divided into two types: aspirational Bodhicitta and engaging Bodhicitta. The difference between them is that aspirational Bodhicitta is when it has not been truly grasped through practice, and engaging Bodhicitta is when it has been grasped. The benefits are the exhaustion of sins and the increase of merit, etc., which are temporary benefits, and the ultimate meaning of attaining Buddhahood. Second, what is specifically to be done is benefiting others, and the Buddhahood to be pursued is not self-created, but is in accordance with the Inexhaustible Intellect Sutra and the Tree Ornament Sutra, etc., as stated in the extensive, intermediate, and concise Prajnaparamita Sutras, which are spoken of in the sutras in a concise and extensive manner. Here, the combination of sutras is discussed, because this is not found elsewhere, so as it is said here, know that everything else also has it. How is that so? As it says in the Intermediate Prajnaparamita Sutra: Shariputra, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva wishes to fully awaken to all dharmas in all aspects, he should train in the Prajnaparamita. Thus, Bodhi is briefly indicated. And in more detail: Shariputra, this great Bodhisattva dwells in Prajna in a non-abiding manner, not abiding in giving, not abiding in the giver and receiver, and perfects the Paramita of giving in a non-renouncing manner. And so on, it is said to train in the six Paramitas. It also briefly indicates benefiting others: Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who wish to lead all sentient beings in the ten directions, in worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, into Nirvana without remainder, should train in the Prajnaparamita. It says so. Also, from causing stingy sentient beings to abide in giving, to causing those with incomplete wisdom to abide in perfect wisdom, etc., it elaborates on benefiting others in detail. Second
