Moreover, because the merits are equal to the limits of space and time in all directions, they are difficult to measure, and because they are completely purified of the stains of faults, obtaining unique merits that are not equal to anything else, this should be understood as being done by the power of abiding in the Prajñāpāramitā. If one does not understand that all dharmas are without inherent existence and there is an attachment to the self of a person, then due to its influence, there will be miserliness and other aspects that are not in accordance with the pāramitās. If that is the case, one will not be able to engage in complete giving, etc., that is free from all attachments. If, even if one does not grasp at the self of a person, one is not separated from focusing on existence and non-existence, then due to the attachment to acceptance and rejection in saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, one will also fall into the extreme of peace. Moreover, the accumulation with focus will not become extremely pure, because it is tainted by ignorance that is incompatible with the nature of things. Therefore, the complete perfection and purity of the other pāramitās will not occur without the Prajñāpāramitā. If there is a Prajñāpāramitā that does not focus on any extreme, then that bodhisattva who has that lineage will not have miserliness, etc., so they will not have even subtle attachment to grasping at all of their body, possessions, and virtuous efforts, and thus they will engage in giving, etc. Moreover, they accomplish all giving, etc., in a way that is without expecting reward or ripening, and without the stain of conceptualizing the three spheres. In this way, seeing the meaning of the Prajñāpāramitā that does not abide in any extreme of existence and non-existence, saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, one will never generate the mind of abandoning saṃsāra and manifesting peace. Even though one has realized the non-duality of appearance and emptiness, but in order to accomplish the benefit and happiness of sentient beings who have not realized it in that way, engaging in giving, etc., is also engaging in a way that is equal to the limit and number of sentient beings, so it is immeasurable. Therefore, the bodhisattva, while on the path, focuses on benefiting others and brings the three perfections of completion, maturation, and purification to their ultimate end, and enters into them in a way that is without discouragement or attachment to them. When the result is brought to its ultimate end, at the time of the non-abiding nirvāṇa, one obtains the wisdom body that is the nature of reality, the essence of which does not abide in the extremes of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, and as long as space exists, one constantly, pervasively, and spontaneously accomplishes the benefit of sentient beings, and this is also due to the power of truly entering into the great equality of appearance and emptiness, the Prajñāpāramitā.

If it is thought that seeing the emptiness of the nature of phenomena without specific focus prevents acts such as giving, then the emptiness seen by that person is not the meaning of the Prajñāpāramitā, but merely an unreality that contradicts the nature of skillful means. Even if it is labeled as without specific focus, it is because it does not focus on things but focuses on unreality. Therefore, it is definitely not the meaning of the Prajñāpāramitā, which is free from all extremes of focus. The profound meaning of the Prajñāpāramitā, even from the time of cutting through conceptual elaborations through hearing and thinking, is something that diminishes attachment to the extremes of existence and peace. What need is there to mention when it is actually realized? Moreover, even if only one kind of giving is done, if it is seized by the Prajñāpāramitā, it is complete with the six perfections, because the opposing factors of the six perfections, such as miserliness, are destroyed by the Prajñāpāramitā. The aspect of skillful means, which is only giving, also transforms into the nature of morality and so on. Therefore, if the wisdom of realizing non-elaboration is only distinguished from the opposite side, then the aspect of abiding is meditation, and it is also the great meditation in which the characteristics of abiding and non-abiding are completely exhausted. Similarly, the great diligence that is spontaneously accomplished in the peace of non-diligence and diligence. The great patience in which the characteristics of patience and impatience are completely pacified, and which is never confused in all forms. The great morality in which the focus on unchastity and non-unchastity is exhausted, and the defilement of unchastity is completely exhausted. The great giving that is free from subtle attachment to characteristics because it does not focus on attachment and non-attachment. The aspect of appearance is giving and so on, and the aspect of emptiness is the nature of wisdom, which are united and transformed into the emptiness that is completely endowed with all supreme aspects. Therefore, being skilled in the key point of collecting all the perfections is the key to the practice of the Prajñāpāramitā. Therefore, one should be skilled in the profound yoga of the union of skillful means and wisdom. The summary of the chapter is: The fifth chapter, the chapter on the culmination of realization, from the Prajñāpāramitā Upadeśa scripture, the Ornament for Clear Realization. Second, the explanation of the extensive branches of dependent origination and cause and effect, which includes the gradual cause of dependence and the extensive explanation of the momentary result of dependence. In the first, there are two: the occasion and the name of the occasion. The first is: Clearly meditating on the aspect of all phenomena appearing and not being mixed in a single moment as unborn.
