They should be known as being of the nature of appearing as inverted, not being established as they are in the object itself. In terms of grasping, there is a distinction between ordinary beings and noble ones who grasp, with sentient beings being considered as existing substantially and conceptually, as conceptual grasping. Each of these can be divided into nine aspects. If the objects of these grasps do not exist as they are, then what object would these substantial and conceptual things be grasping? They would not be grasping. Therefore, grasping at substance and imputation is a reversed consciousness, like water in a mirage, because neither substance nor imputation has ever been established for any reason, like the child of a barren woman. Thus, those inner graspers are characterized by being empty of the nature of grasping. Each of the four previously mentioned apprehensions of what is grasped and what grasps has nine internal divisions based on how it grasps in relation to the object, making thirty-six in total. The first is entering into the apprehension of what is grasped. In the sutra, it says, 'Subhuti, what do you think? Do you truly see the mind that is like an illusion?' up to the example of the wooden wheel of illusion, it is taught up to the point of not discriminating the results of actions. That is, ordinary people grasp the person as substantial, while noble ones grasp it as imputed, which is done in terms of whether or not they have realized selflessness, not as an object, but as a subject. However, if it is taken as an object, then it can be grasped in any way. The first aim is to show ordinary people, so noble ones are implied. The second shows noble ones, so ordinary people are implied. In essence, all ordinary and noble people view substance as ultimate, and do not even focus on imputation. Therefore, these discriminations to be abandoned on the paths of seeing and meditation, which are shown above and below, represent the need to abandon all fixations and objects of focus in limitless ways of accepting and rejecting, negating and affirming. And, it should be understood that through the force of such teachings, the nature of co-emergent and imputed, as well as the differences between the Great and Lesser Vehicles, and so on, can also be understood. Having understood in this way, entering without attachment is the teaching of the Perfection of Wisdom. Secondly, there are two types of apprehension: apprehension of what is grasped and apprehension of what grasps. The first has two parts: entering into the apprehension of what is grasped and reversing the apprehension of what is grasped. The first is: the unsurpassed enlightenment, the Great Vehicle devoid of cause and effect.

Generally, the nature of cause and effect is: 1. Being certain as the cause of attaining Buddhahood; 2. The Mahayana noble path is the path of true accomplishment; 3. Understanding the object of reality, realizing it like an illusion, and meditating without delusion; 4. Abandoning unfavorable factors and correctly adopting and rejecting antidotes, gaining the ability to subdue what is to be abandoned; 5. In terms of results, for one's own benefit, realizing the result of the Mahayana path, which is omniscience; 6. For the benefit of others, distancing those with the Mahayana lineage from the stages of Shravakas, etc.; 7. Accomplishing activities in accordance with the wishes of those to be tamed, such as through emanations; 8. The result of the activity is to place sentient beings in the great Nirvana, and the conceptual thoughts of those who are inclined to enter this direction are considered as nine aspects. The second is that, because focusing on objects or clinging to characteristics carries the risk of falling into peace, as it is separated from existence and compassion. Therefore, the realization of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, which is the opposite of Mahayana, is inferior. And, to be liberated from existence and peace, one needs to rely on a Mahayana spiritual friend and someone skilled in means, i.e., without clinging to either internal or external. Since it is not the antidote to all two obscurations, the characteristics of the path are incomplete. Even at the end of existence, one still needs to rely on the teachings of Buddhas and others, thus those with inferior faculties rely on external conditions to proceed. Due to inferior means, it contradicts the mind of intentional abandonment and realization, i.e., the three great ones (great compassion, great bodhicitta, and great view of emptiness). The result is partial, only abandoning some of what is to be abandoned. The results are diverse, although it is said to be the realization from stream-enterer to Arhat, but here, even if one attains Arhatship, the realization varies depending on the sharpness or dullness of the faculties, and is diverse. Although abandonment is partial and realization is diverse, the reason for the diversity is that, from the perspective of the exhaustion of abandonment, the types of realization are different, and not all are in the aspect of non-elaboration, I think. Being confused about omniscience or benefiting others, or abiding in and entering the Mahayana. Regarding this, it is said that because the habitual tendencies of ignorance have not been abandoned, one is confused about abiding and entering. If that is the case, then it is only similar in behavior, I think. After the Nirvana of one's own path, one still needs to enter omniscience, and for these, it is the nature of the nine conceptual thoughts that cling to what should be rejected, and these are all with metaphors, as declared in the sutras.
