Creating many roots of virtue such as equality and poverty, and possessing the protector of the Mahayana virtuous friend, is a vessel for listening to this profound Prajnaparamita Sutra. Having attended many Buddhas and pleased them with service and reverence of body and so on, and asking all the meanings of Prajnaparamita in front of the Buddhas and cutting off doubts, and after attending the Buddhas, practicing the six perfections such as the perfection of generosity and discipline, not only listening in order but also not being afraid after hearing, accepting the meaning and taking the words to heart, and holding the meaning in mind without forgetting it by thinking and meditating, etc., properly attending to it and practicing it, generating experience and realization, and becoming a vessel for understanding its meaning, the holy ones such as the Buddhas think so. The Sutra says: All who hear this Prajnaparamita Sutra in the ears of any sentient being plant roots of virtue in the Tathagata. And so on. Third, the nature of combination. The Sutra says: When a Mahayana practitioner practices Prajnaparamita, he does not abide in form, and at that time he does yoga on form. And so on. It is explained when a Mahayana practitioner does not combine with form, etc. Among the twenty combinations, the first five are: distinguishing from the nature of combination, and then the fifteen are the distinctions of the ground, that is, from form, etc. to omniscience, because of attachment and non-abiding, so it is a combination of non-abiding in any object. 1. In order to prevent the combination of clinging to the object by the object or the object-holder, it is a combination of non-combination that does not cling to anything. 2. The two do not exist in the meaning of the object and the object-holder, because Prajnaparamita is non-discriminating wisdom, so it is the real combination of practicing Prajnaparamita. For Prajnaparamita, it is also divided into three aspects: basis, path, and nature: the basis is form, etc., because its suchness is profound, so realizing it is the profound combination of basic wisdom. 3. The Dharma of the path, because those are difficult to measure, so realizing it is the combination of the path wisdom that is difficult to measure. 4. The nature of those held by nature is limitless, so realizing it is the combination of omniscience that is limitless. 5. It is expressed by names such as profound combination and the profound combination of its object-holder, etc. Prajnaparamita is profound, etc.

The practice of meditating on the meaning of the Prajnaparamita by a practitioner on the accumulation path who is timid and fearful, if done with great effort, will only generate realization after a long time. Therefore, it is a practice that is very laborious and takes a long time to realize. 6. Those on the accumulation path with sharp faculties and those who have attained warmth, who are not afraid or terrified of the three unborn things, who possess constant fearlessness, and who even in their dreams keep the six perfections in mind, will receive predictions that they will not exceed one, two, or three Tathagatas. 7. Having heard the Prajnaparamita, truly holding it and properly contemplating it, is the irreversible practice. 8. Itself is the peak, and in the patience stage, it is the practice of necessarily arising from the stage of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, which are obstacles to omniscience. 9. In meditative equipoise, meditating on freedom from elaboration, and in post-meditation, holding and retaining the Prajnaparamita, etc., because of practicing the supreme Dharma, the path of seeing arises immediately, which is the uninterrupted 10 practice. The practitioner on the path of seeing, who has newly attained the undefiled path of the Great Vehicle, practices the Prajnaparamita, which is the practice of approaching enlightenment. 11. From the second to the seventh bhumi, in order to manifest the resultant Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya of the practice, making great effort is the practice of quickly attaining enlightenment. 12. On the eighth bhumi, the practice of meditating on the Prajnaparamita is explained in five aspects from the perspective of qualities: the practice of turning the wheel of Dharma for the benefit of others. 13. Meditating on the Prajnaparamita is a perfect means, because the nature of reality neither increases nor decreases, therefore it is the practice of not seeing all arising and ceasing, etc. 14. The practice of not seeing white Dharma and black non-Dharma, the three realms to be accepted and rejected, etc., or the practice of not abiding in the two extremes. 15. Forms, etc., are inconceivable and immeasurable, and even in a state of non-thought, there is no boasting. It is the practice of seeing the nature of non-abiding, without attachment. 16. The characteristic of forms, etc., is the cause, and the essence of the object of Dharma is the practice of not discriminating or boasting. 17. These five are taught in this way because the non-discriminating wisdom of the eighth bhumi is fully matured, and in meditative equipoise and post-meditation, one constantly abides in equality. The practice of meditating on the Prajnaparamita on the ninth bhumi is called the practice of giving precious fruits, 18, which are the four fruits of Stream-enterer, etc., and the self-
