Just as a jaundiced person sees a white conch as yellow. Due to the delusion of inverted views, by training the inverted object through the correct path, one gradually sees the pure reality of things, and the key lies in this. The second part includes the classification of the purity of the fruit, and two reasons for the establishment of this classification. First, the purity of the three vehicles: Because of abandoning afflictive obscurations such as attachment, and grasping the three wheels as real, which is part of the obscuration of knowledge—the grasping conceptualization, and the grasping conceptualization on top of that, and various path obscurations, by removing or purifying these stains through the three paths, therefore it is established as the purity of the disciple Hearers, and the Solitary Realizers symbolized by the rhinoceros horn, and the Prince Bodhisattvas. Furthermore, the Buddha, the Bhagavan, is completely pure from the two obscurations and their predispositions, and is the ultimate in being extremely pure. The second part includes the main text, and dispelling doubts about it. First, why is the Buddha ultimately pure, while the Hearers and Solitary Realizers are only partially pure? Because the nature of the desire realm, form realm, and formless realm, in the nine grounds of the three realms, the great object to be abandoned by the path of meditation, the antidote to the great and so on stains, the samadhi wisdom meditation path, the small, the small and so on nine paths, are the cause of purifying stains. Among the nine meditation paths, the form of the smallest of the small, such as because the perfection of wisdom is pure, form is also pure and so on. The medium ones, such as because emptiness is pure, form is also pure and so on are different. The greatest of the great, purity is not manifest and so on, the sutras say so. Second, dispelling the debate about this: In short, the sutras say: The perfection of wisdom is not used as medicine, not completely grasped, nothing is obtained and so on, successively explaining that the object to be abandoned and the antidote should not be regarded as opposites, and should not be regarded as something that can be generated and obtained through effort and so on, thereby eliminating various criticisms. In this way, because the nine stages of what is to be abandoned by meditation, from large to small, its antidote arises from small to large, therefore the nine meditation paths of the Great Vehicle are the cause of purifying all stains, so the fruit is not extremely pure. And, it is a doubt that the antidote in one realm cannot eliminate all the obstacles of the three realms. What was just said, when what is to be abandoned is extremely large, the antidote can destroy it when it is small and so on, is unreasonable.

This is not reasonable, because in the ultimate truth, what is to be abandoned and the antidote, as well as size, do not exist. But in the conventional truth, just as when washing clothes stained with dirt, the washer strives to scrub and endeavors to remove the coarse dirt, taking the example of the power of small effort, the nine paths of cultivation of the Mahayana can become the antidote to all defilements, refuting arguments in a reasonable way. The wisdom of meditative equipoise, free from elaboration, in the ultimate truth, does not regard the knowable knowledge and the knowable truth as two different objects and subjects, but through equal realization, it becomes the antidote to the abandonment of the three realms, and is considered the special realization wisdom of the Mahayana. The sutra that expounds this is: 'Purity is not seeking,' etc., in the sutras of 'Equality,' and 'Purity is not the birth of the three realms of desire, form, and formlessness,' etc., in the sutras that declare the abandonment included in the three realms as the antidote. Chapter summary: In the treatise on the instructions of the Prajnaparamita called 'Ornament of Clear Realization,' it is the chapter on the Path Knowledge, that is, the explanation of the second chapter. Third, the detailed explanation of the branches of the object to be abandoned, the base knowledge, has five parts: the nature of the base knowledge, its differences, its classification, how to practice it, the result of such practice, and the conclusion of the three knowledges. First, the base knowledge is the dharma of the aggregates, realms, and sources that serve as the basis for cutting off imputations, and knowing that all of this is merely empty of the self of the person is the realization of the Hearers. Knowing it as free from elaboration by the two selflessnesses is the realization of the Mahayana. Among these, it is necessary to first clearly declare the base knowledge that abides in the category of Mahayana realization, and then indirectly know the inferior realization. Generally speaking, because of knowing, the base knowledge that does not abide in existence, etc., among the nine indicative dharmas, the first six are declared as the differentiating dharmas of the Greater and Lesser Vehicles. The remaining three declare the actual path, thereby establishing the base knowledge. The sutra says: 'Bhagavan, the Prajnaparamita of the great Bodhisattvas is not the far shore, not this shore, and does not abide between the two.' Thus. To this, why is it that the base knowledge, which is the antidote, does not abide in existence or peace through realization? Because the nature of things is
