In order to rest and be led to Buddhahood. Harmful to things. Obstacles that can be eliminated are sudden impurities, like clouds and turbidity. When the nature of mind is complete, the seeds of suffering, the clinging to self, are abandoned, and the nature of realization manifests, because there is no harm from suffering. Because there is wisdom that examines both the antidote cause and the non-self that contradicts things. Because the afflictions of existence are exhausted, there is no birth in samsara, but there is birth without outflows. Birth without outflows is when hearers, solitary realizers, and arhats faint in the realm without outflows, are awakened by the encouragement of the Buddhas, are born from the lotus in the pure land, and are awakened by the rays of light of the Buddhas. Having generated bodhicitta, they cultivate the path and become Buddhas, as stated in the Lankavatara Sutra. Furthermore, there are two types of death and rebirth: cessation and the inconceivable. The latter refers to hearers and solitary realizers, therefore, ultimately, the One Vehicle is established. The nature of dependent path knowledge is that afflictions are made autonomous, and as long as samsara exists, until the benefit of beings is not exhausted, the true limit is not directly realized, this is the nature. Moreover, the afflictions of nature are either attached to compassion or not abandoned by skillful means. There are two types of afflictions: those that bind to samsara and the nature of latent tendencies. The former is not present in the noble ones, the latter, although present, transforms into a limb of enlightenment. Even if the path of seeing is attained, the actions without outflows and the objects to be abandoned in each ground are transformed freely. They are not intentionally abandoned like the hearers, but are completely grasped as the cause of birth in samsara. Like poison turning into medicine, skillful means make afflictions a limb of enlightenment. Because of being seized by skillful means and wisdom, afflictions are not self-characterized, but are beneficial for accomplishing the Dharma of the Buddhas. Its function is to gather disciples into a retinue, to ripen those who are not ripe, and to liberate those who are ripe. Second, the differences in dependent path knowledge are threefold: the path knowledge of hearers, solitary realizers, and bodhisattvas. The first has two parts: the nature of the path and its determining cause. First, it is
