Even a fully compassionate Buddha who embodies bodhicitta generates bodhicitta, along with the wisdom that realizes all phenomena as emptiness, and the three dedications, all on the path of joining the Great Vehicle. Not clinging to the Hearers and Solitary Realizers, although the Buddha has no partiality, it is the difference in the capacities of the beings to be tamed. The inner embodiment is that with the all-knowing mind, with the skillful means of great compassion and the six perfections such as generosity, and all phenomena such as the aggregates of wisdom, one does not cling to the nature of the three doors of liberation, which is the distinction of skillful means and wisdom. Fourth, in order to accomplish the meaning of the instructions without error, there are four aspects: the basis of accomplishment, the object of focus, the purpose, and the nature of the accomplishment itself. Among these, the first has the division of lineages, and the division has two aspects: debate and refutation. The first is that in the Lesser Vehicle's system, there are the robes that are not attached to mental factors, 1. alms, 2. dwelling, 3. the noble lineage that is content with meager sustenance, and the four lineages that delight in abandonment and meditation. 4. The Great Vehicle's lineage identifies the mind of conditioned phenomena as capable of transforming into the uncontaminated, which is the Mind-Only school's view. The nature of the mind or the Dharma-nature is merely completely pure, which is the Middle Way school's view. Combining the above two, or considering it as the union of clarity and emptiness, etc., although there are many views, here, all phenomena are empty of inherent existence, therefore, if one meditates on emptiness alone, which is capable of accomplishing the three vehicles, then the lineage of generating the noble path will arise. Although it exists from the stage of accumulation and before entering the path, here it refers to the special lineage that is free from faults. From the path of joining to the tenth ground, thirteen distinctions are taught regarding the Dharma-nature of the mind of the individual who is the basis. There are also explanations that the thirteen powers of the basis Dharma accomplishment have different abilities. The sutra of lineage is: Subhuti, just as there are no traces of birds in the sky, and they cannot be found. Subhuti, similarly, the meaning of the words of the bodhisattva does not exist, and cannot be found. And so on, each has thirteen sutras. In the first of the thirteen basis Dharma accomplishments, for the Dharma of realization, there are the four paths of joining that correspond to the heat and so on, which are the decisive factors. 5. The path of transcendence, the path of seeing and the path of meditation, there are six in total. 6. The antidote to be abandoned while abandoning, the path of non-interruption. 7. The path of liberation that abandons all unfavorable factors and afflictive obscurations.

8. Completely relying on those antidotes, that is, the practice of exhausting vows and abandoning cognitive obscurations; 9. Wisdom combined with compassion that prevents the extremes of samsara and nirvana, as the basis of the liberation path of the eighth bhumi; 10. The four correct knowledges of each of the disciples, shravakas and pratyekabuddhas, and the uncommon wisdom, are the ninth bhumi itself; 11. Through hidden intentions, in accordance with the thoughts of other beings to be tamed, practicing according to the order of meaning; 12. Moreover, if these hidden intentions are not properly understood, and if they are taken literally, the definitive meaning will not be understood. Because texts with hidden intentions are provisional, and the meaning of the words will be reversed, it is very important to distinguish them. The four hidden intentions are: applying hidden intentions to the person (Pudgala), applying hidden intentions to the characteristics of the dharma, applying hidden intentions to the antidotes that subdue the faults in the minds of beings to be tamed, and applying hidden intentions to transforming the meaning expressed by words and letters from worldly conventions to other meanings. These four are in order: In order to guide the shravakas who cannot enter the dharma of no-self to the path of liberation, considering this, it is taught that the aggregates, etc., of the no-self of the person exist; and saying that there is no self-nature and no birth, etc., does not mean that the dharmas that exist in the conventional sense do not exist at all, or that the appearance of arising and ceasing does not exist, but rather applying hidden intentions to the nature or self-nature of the ultimate truth. For example, teaching that there are no three self-natures, etc. In order to subdue the faults in the minds of beings, for example, saying "I was formerly the Buddha Vipashyin," etc. Holding hidden intentions in the expression itself that is not literal. As it is said: Knowing the meaningless as meaningful, Abiding greatly in the inverted, Afflicting greatly with afflictions, One will attain supreme enlightenment. Like this, what is said, etc. If this sentence is taken literally, it seems to be explaining the cause of not attaining enlightenment. But in reality, it refers to understanding or knowing the distraction of meaninglessness as real, and among the four inversions of clinging to purity, pleasure, permanence, and self, transforming the inverted into impurity, suffering, impermanence, and no-self, thereby abiding greatly in the higher training of wisdom that understands these, and striving for a long time for the benefit of sentient beings.
