It is also the noble one, without outflows. Since other proximate causes are not clear, the outflowless does not depend. Those who have not attained the actual basis of noble meditation generate it by relying on that path of cessation. Since there are no afflictions in the meditative form of causal equipoise, when one is born into those fruits, the mind of connection in one's own continuum, not equally established in its proximate cause, is joined by afflictions. Thus is the tenet. Some say that because it is clear, all three, such as sensation, are present. Eighth, the difference between presence and absence of investigation and analysis. Without investigation with analysis, with investigation with analysis, without investigation without analysis, three. The first has four differences: essence, division, feeling, and result. First, the very basis of the first meditation, being superior because it is free from investigation, without investigation but with analysis, is a special meditation. Second, it has three distinctions: pure, outflowless, and sensation. Third, since it is to be generated with effort, it is only endowed with equanimity, which is neither pleasant nor painful. Fourth, the special one with outflows, if meditated upon, has the result of being born in the Great Brahma. Therefore, love and so on are completing factors, hence it is called Brahma abode. Second, below that special one, the mere basis of the first meditation and the proximate cause are called concentration with investigation and analysis. Third, above that special one, from the proximate cause of the second up to the peak of existence, is the concentration without both investigation and analysis of that aggregate of grounds. Second, the qualities included in concentration. There are three doors of liberation, three destroyers of the path, four concentrations of bliss transformation, etc. Four immeasurables, eight liberations, etc., are explained. The first has two: aspect and division. First, Nirvana, the discriminated cessation, is without characteristics because it is separated from the five objects, male and female, and the three or four characteristics of the conditioned, that is, the ten characteristics. Here, the faculties are not mentioned as characteristics because they are not as captivating as objects. The concentration focused on that is endowed with the four aspects of cessation in which all characteristics are pacified. The concentration on emptiness is the very aspect of focusing on the truth of suffering and entering into selflessness and emptiness.

They are similar. Absence of aspiration means: taking conditioned phenomena as the object of non-desire, it has the aspect of aversion. Cessation truth does not cause aversion, because emptiness and selflessness are the general characteristics of all phenomena, and also the nature of nirvana, so it does not cause aversion. The two aspects of suffering truth, and the four aspects of cessation, other than these six, there are also impermanence and suffering, and the four of the origin, and the path is also like abandoning the raft after crossing the river, although it is temporarily something to be taken, it must be abandoned when entering the state of no remainder, so the four aspects of the path truth that cause aversion. The samadhi that corresponds to these ten aspects of truth is the aspect of absence of aspiration. Asanga and Senge Sang, etc., also said that the two, cessation and path, are without characteristics. Second, these three samadhis are divided into two types: defiled worldly pure and undefiled transcendental undefiled. The defiled includes the decisive part and some noble path practices. Their locations are in the desire realm, the six dhyana heavens, and the four formless realms, a total of eleven places. The undefiled is located in the nine places where the undefiled path is located. Among them, the undefiled of these three samadhis is the cause of liberation and the gate to enter it. Therefore, the sutra also says that there are three gates of liberation, such as emptiness. Second, it is divided into teaching and explanation. First, the sutra also says: The absence of aspiration absence of aspiration and the absence of characteristics absence of characteristics samadhi, which are held by the emptiness emptiness samadhi and so on. It means that in addition to the previous three, there are three more samadhis. This is because they take the previous three, such as emptiness, as their objects in order, so they are called that. Second, it is divided into the entity and their classification. First, the first two of these are aimed at the emptiness of the state of no more learning and the samadhi of no aspiration, in order to prevent the clinging to self and attachment or joy to the two. The emptiness samadhi of the state of no more learning is: This is not mine. With the aspect of emptiness. The no-aspiration samadhi of the state of no more learning is: to pay attention to the aspect of impermanence. The first samadhi makes the conditioned five aggregates empty.
